KGOSAUO 7x14ft Clear Vinyl Tarp, 14-Mil Waterproof Cover with Grommets

For a patio enclosure, greenhouse cover, or plant shelter, the KGOSAUO clear tarp helps block rain and wind while letting natural light through. Its transparent vinyl keeps the covered area visible, making it useful where an opaque tarp would block the view or shade plants.

The 7x14ft cover is 14 mil thick and has reinforced edges and grommets for securing it in place. An integrated polyethylene rope is included.

Who it’s for

This tarp suits people looking for transparent coverage for a patio, porch, balcony, greenhouse, chicken coop, campsite, or garden project. It can also serve as a temporary cover or dust barrier indoors or outdoors. For a plant area, the high light transmission helps keep daylight available while the cover provides protection from rain and wind. For a patio, the clear surface preserves visibility beyond the covered space.

Customer feedback often highlights the tarp’s clarity, thickness, and usefulness as a wind barrier. Some buyers also report that the measurements do not match the advertised size, so check the dimensions against the area you need to cover when planning your setup.

Practical tips

Lay out the tarp and position its grommets to match the available tie-down points before fastening it. Use the included rope or suitable hooks to secure the cover through the grommets, distributing attachment points along the edges. The grommets are spaced every 17–20 inches, providing regular places to fasten it. For a greenhouse or patio cover, orient the clear panel to maintain the view and daylight you want while covering the exposed area.

The listed temperature range is -32°F to 176°F, and the material is described as remaining flexible in cold conditions. As with any tarp installation, secure the edges for the intended location and use so the cover stays in place.

When it makes sense

Choose this clear tarp when the goal is weather protection without giving up visibility or natural light. Compared with an opaque cover, its transparency is especially useful for plant spaces, patio enclosures, and other areas where seeing through the barrier matters. Its 14-mil vinyl, reinforced construction, and regularly spaced grommets make it a practical fit for residential outdoor coverage and temporary shelter projects.
