MQSXBF Clear Tarp 4x6ft, 14 Mil Clear Vinyl with Grommets
Product description
Clear PVC construction lets daylight through while helping shield an outdoor area from rain and dust. At 4x6ft, this waterproof tarp can cover a compact greenhouse, protect patio furniture, or create a clear side panel for a porch enclosure. Reinforced edges and evenly spaced grommets give you practical points for securing it.
Worth noting
The 14 mil vinyl tarp combines a transparent cover with a reinforced perimeter, so you can add weather protection without blocking the view like an opaque tarp would. Its stated 99.99% transparency helps preserve natural light for plants and keeps an enclosed patio or porch feeling open. The waterproof material also makes it useful for covering items such as firewood or outdoor furniture when rain and dust are a concern.
The edges have six rows of stitching and wider seams, while plastic plates reinforce the corners. Rust-resistant grommets are distributed along the edge, with a 0.5-inch diameter for fastening. This edge design provides several attachment points to help spread tension when securing the cover. The listed accessories include two ropes and cable ties, giving you options for tying it in place.
Size & fit
The tarp measures 48 inches long by 72 inches wide, matching the 4x6ft size. Consider the area you want to cover and where you plan to attach the edges: the grommets provide fastening points around the perimeter, while the rectangular shape suits smaller openings, patio sections, and individual items. For example, it can serve as a clear panel across part of a porch enclosure, letting light and the view remain while providing a barrier against the elements.
The vinyl may show temporary creases after unpacking. Unfolding it and using it, or letting it sit in a warm environment under sunlight, helps the material gradually return to a flatter state.
Who it’s for
This size suits shoppers who want a clear, waterproof cover for a defined outdoor area rather than a large opaque tarp. Use it to cover plants in a small greenhouse setup, help shelter a chicken coop, protect a stack of firewood, or cover patio furniture. Its transparency is especially useful where maintaining daylight or visibility matters, while the reinforced corners and perimeter grommets make it practical to tie down as a cover or enclosure panel. You’ll appreciate it if you want protection that still allows light through and prefer a tarp with built-in fastening points.
What to clarify
How transparent is the cover? The material is listed as 99.99% transparent. It is designed to let sunlight through and preserve the view, which can be useful for plant covers and clear outdoor enclosures.
How can it be secured? Use the rust-resistant grommets along the edges as attachment points. The grommets are 0.5 inches in diameter, and the listed accessories include two ropes and cable ties.
What should I expect when it arrives folded? Temporary creases can appear from packaging. After unfolding and use, or time in a warm environment under sunlight, the tarp gradually returns to a flatter state.
