Kazxcoa Roosters Chickens Hens Stove Top Cover, 28 x 19.5-Inch Rubber Mat

If you need extra prep space over an electric cooktop or a cover to help keep the surface clean, this Kazxcoa mat is designed for that role. Its rooster, chicken, hen, and leaf print also makes it a visible part of the kitchen rather than a plain protective pad. Could one cover serve more than one spot at home? The listing also describes uses on countertops and washer tops, plus temporary use as an ironing mat.

Tech specs

• Type: Flexible stovetop cover and multipurpose mat
• Material: Rubber
• Size listed in product name: 28 x 19.5 inches
• Product dimensions: 28 x 20 x 0.4 inches
• Weight: 1.5 pounds
• Features: Waterproof, non-slip layer, heat-resistant
• Heat resistance: Up to 400°F
• Included accessories: Two hooks

The two size references differ slightly, so the stated dimensions are worth noting if you need the cover to fit a specific surface. The heat-resistance figure does not mean the mat can be placed on an active or hot stove: the product directions specifically say not to put it on a hot stove surface.

Tips for day-to-day use

Placed over a cool electric or induction cooktop, the cover can provide a surface for food preparation or a place to set items while the stove is not in use. Its waterproof, non-slip layer is intended to help keep it in place and protect the area underneath. It can also be used as a countertop mat, a dish-drying mat, or a washer-top cover. The listing mentions temporary ironing use as well, but does not describe this as a permanent heat barrier.

For cleanup, the mat can be wiped with a damp cloth or machine washed. When it is not needed, the product description says it can be folded for storage or hung using the two included hooks. It suits you if you want one flexible cover for a cooktop and a few other household surfaces. Not the best choice if you need a mat that can remain on a hot cooking surface, the instructions rule that out.

Buyer feedback highlights the printed appearance, with some saying it makes the kitchen look more put together. Buyers also describe the fit positively, though individual cooktop dimensions may differ. That makes measuring the available surface particularly useful when fit matters, especially given the two size descriptions in the listing.

What you get

The listing specifies a stovetop cover mat and two hooks. It does not describe additional accessories. The hooks offer a hanging storage option, while folding the mat is another way to put it away when the cooktop is needed. This makes the set more relevant to someone who wants a reusable cover with storage options than to someone shopping only for a decorative kitchen accent.

What to clarify

Can it go on a hot stove? No. The directions say not to put the cover on a hot stove surface. Its stated heat resistance should not be read as permission to cover a hot burner.

How can it be cleaned? The description says it can be wiped with a damp cloth or machine washed.

Can it be used away from the cooktop? The listed uses include a countertop, dish-drying mat, washer-top cover, and temporary ironing mat.

Final verdict

This cover combines a specific farm-inspired print with practical uses beyond an electric cooktop, including extra work surface when the stove is cool. Its rubber construction, non-slip layer, and fold-or-hang storage may suit a kitchen where the mat will be moved between tasks. The main decision point is fit: compare the stated cover size with the surface you intend to cover, and keep it off a hot stove. Choose it for a reusable multipurpose mat with this design, choose a different approach if you need a cover for use while cooking.
