JOYMISS JM01 Breathable Crib & Toddler Mattress, Dual-Sided Foam, Tencel Cover
Product description
For setting up a crib that can later be used as a toddler bed, the JOYMISS JM01 offers two foam sides with different firmness levels and a removable cover. Its listed size is 52" x 27.6" x 5", while another set of product specifications gives the width as 28", that difference is worth resolving against your bed’s measurements before choosing it.
The Tencel cover is designed to come off for machine washing, and a waterproof TPU layer on one side adds a practical detail for everyday spills. The mattress is described as breathable and double-sided, but the provided specifications also label its firmness as medium, so the exact feel of each side is not fully detailed.
Practical tips
Check the mattress dimensions against the crib or toddler bed rather than relying only on the “standard” fit description. The product details list both 27.6" and 28" widths, with a 52" length and 5" thickness. This is the clearest point to settle before ordering, especially if your bed has specific mattress-size requirements.
The cover is removable and machine washable, which may make routine cleanup simpler than with a mattress that can only be spot-cleaned. The waterproof layer is described as being on one side, so check its orientation when setting up the mattress. Follow the care information supplied with the product for washing the cover.
Benefits
The two-sided design is intended to serve different stages: a firmer high-density foam side for infants and a softer comfort side for toddlers. That gives caregivers an alternative to buying a single-feel mattress that is not described as reversible for changing firmness. The listing also identifies gel memory foam in its construction details, alongside memory foam and high-density foam descriptions.
Buyer feedback is generally positive about firmness, breathability, water resistance, and ease of cleaning. Some buyers also say the mattress feels comfortable for their child. Those are individual impressions, not a guarantee of fit or comfort for every crib, toddler bed, or child.

Practical questions
What is the intended difference between the two sides? The product description assigns the firmer high-density foam side to infants and the softer comfort side to toddlers. It does not provide a separate firmness rating for each side.
Can the cover be washed? Yes. The cover is described as removable and machine washable. The listing does not specify wash settings, so use the care instructions provided with the mattress.
What dimensions should I use to check fit? The title lists 52" x 27.6" x 5", while the specifications list 52" x 28" x 5". Compare those measurements with your bed and confirm the intended width before purchase.
Final verdict
Worth considering if you want a foam crib mattress with a removable washable cover, one-sided waterproof protection, and a firmer-to-softer reversible design for infant and toddler use. Not the best choice if you need a single, unambiguous width measurement before checking compatibility: the supplied details differ by 0.4". Within these limits, the two-sided format is the main reason to choose it over a mattress with one stated feel.
