AOHWIDER sc-bm-new Bassinet Mattress, Dual-Sided Gel Memory Foam, TPU Cover

Choosing a bassinet mattress often comes down to fit and cleanup, or to having different comfort surfaces. The AOHWIDER sc-bm-new offers a dual-sided design and a removable, washable TPU waterproof cover. Its listed dimensions differ between the product name and the detailed specifications, so matching the mattress to your bassinet is the key decision.

Everyday use

This mattress is intended for bassinets and cradles, with a firm side described as high-density foam and a softer side made with gel memory foam. That gives caregivers two surfaces to choose from rather than a single foam feel. The cover is described as waterproof and machine washable, which is useful for routine cleanup after spills or leaks. The listing also describes the mattress as breathable, but does not provide a specific airflow rating or other test details.

The product name gives a size of 33 x 20 x 2 inches, while the detailed item dimensions state 30 inches long by 18 inches wide by 2 inches thick. Those measurements do not match. The listing names Baby Delight, Mika Micky, and KoolerThings bassinets as compatible, but the size discrepancy makes checking the exact bassinet’s mattress space especially important before ordering. It makes sense if you want a washable cover and the option of two firmness surfaces, Better avoided if you need dimensions that are clearly consistent with your bassinet’s requirements.

What you’ll notice day to day

The two-sided construction is the main distinction from a basic single-surface bassinet mattress. One side is described as firmer, while the gel memory foam side is presented as softer. The details do not specify a recommended side for a particular baby, so the choice should follow the product instructions and your bassinet’s requirements rather than an assumption based on the “dual firmness” label.

Buyer feedback is generally positive about comfort and firmness, while opinions on thickness are mixed: some describe it as thick and others as too thin. That makes the conflicting listed dimensions more than a minor detail, fit and the actual surface feel matter more than general reports from other setups. Although some feedback refers to other bassinet models, compatibility stated for this product should not be assumed beyond the models named in its listing.

Final verdict

The AOHWIDER sc-bm-new is worth considering for a bassinet setup where its dimensions are confirmed and a removable, waterproof, machine-washable cover is a priority. Its dual-sided foam design adds a choice of feel that a one-sided mattress does not offer. The unresolved difference between the product-name size and detailed dimensions is the main reason to pause: confirm the required mattress measurements for your specific bassinet before relying on the fit claims.
