HWLIYUTAI 2-Pack Pyramid Acoustic Foam Panels, 48 x 24 x 2-Inch, Black

Pyramid-shaped foam gives these panels a textured surface for targeted sound absorption in a room. The two-pack format suits a focused wall treatment, such as the area around a recording setup or home office. Choose this approach when you want to address sound in a specific part of a room, broader sound isolation requires a different kind of solution.

Specifications

• Format: Pyramid acoustic foam panels
• Quantity: 2 panels
• Size: 48 x 24 x 2 inches
• Color: Black
• Material: Described as high-density polyurethane foam, the listing also refers to polyester, so the exact material is unclear
• Package recovery: The foam is vacuum-sealed and is stated to regain its shape within 12 to 48 hours after opening

The listing describes the foam as high-density, flame-retardant, and suitable for sound absorption. It does not provide a sound absorption rating or testing details, so those claims do not establish how much the panels will change the sound in a particular room. Acoustic foam is generally used to manage reflections within a space, these panels should not be treated as a substitute for construction or other sound-isolation measures when the goal is to block noise moving between rooms.

How to use it

Plan where the panels will go before opening the package. A recording room, podcast corner, or home office may benefit from a targeted treatment on a wall near the activity, rather than covering every surface by default. Placement and room layout affect the result, and this listing does not specify a recommended coverage area or provide mounting hardware information.

The panels arrive compressed. Allow the stated 12 to 48 hours for them to recover their shape before assessing their fit or installing them. The listing also says they can be cut to size, which may help when working around a smaller wall section, cutting changes the panel dimensions, so measure the intended area first. If your main need is to reduce sound traveling through walls, compare this with sound-isolation approaches instead of assuming an absorptive foam panel will do both jobs.

What you get

The product is listed as a two-pack of black pyramid acoustic foam panels, each measuring 48 x 24 x 2 inches. The supplied information does not identify installation accessories, so do not assume adhesive or mounting pieces are included. That makes it useful to plan attachment separately if the panels need to be fixed to a wall.

Worth considering if you want a pair of large-format panels for a defined area in a home studio, recording room, office, or entertainment space. The pyramid profile and cut-to-size option provide flexibility for arranging a small treatment zone, while the black finish keeps the panels visually consistent with a dark setup. It might not be a great match if you need verified acoustic ratings, a stated room-coverage plan, or a complete soundproofing system, those details are not established by the available product information.

Should you buy it?

This set makes the most sense when your goal is to add absorptive foam to a specific wall area and you can handle placement and mounting yourself. For a basic, localized treatment, two panels offer a defined starting point without committing to a full-room layout. If you need predictable acoustic performance or isolation from outside noise, look for a product or system with documented ratings and installation details before choosing based on the “noise canceling” wording alone.
