AA AUDIO ACCESSORY APC04 Flat Guitar Patch Cables, 6-Inch, 4-Pack

Choosing patch cables often comes down to whether you need flexible routing or a compact connection between closely spaced pedals. The AA AUDIO ACCESSORY APC04 is a four-pack of flat, 6-inch guitar patch cables with low-profile, gold-plated 1/4-inch TS connectors, designed for pedalboard connections where plug clearance matters.

The short length suits neighboring pedals rather than longer runs across a room. Its flat profile and Kevlar-reinforced cable are intended to make routing around a compact board easier, while the shielding is designed to limit interference.

Getting the most from it

These cables are intended to connect pedals on a board, especially where standard-size plugs would crowd neighboring jacks. The listing says the low-profile plugs are designed for jack spacing as tight as 0.2 inch. That can be useful when arranging several pedals close together, though actual fit still depends on the position and shape of each pedal’s jacks. The flat cable can also be routed along a board with less bulk than a round cable of similar purpose.

For a practical setup, use them between adjacent pedals and keep longer instrument or output runs separate. The 6-inch length is a specific constraint: it favors short pedal-to-pedal connections, not flexible placement across a large board. If your layout needs longer gaps, choose cables sized for those runs instead. It makes sense if you are organizing a compact pedalboard and want short, low-profile links, You may want to skip it if you need longer cables or connections for uses beyond guitar pedals.

Buyers commonly describe the cables as useful in crowded pedalboard layouts and appreciate their flexibility, fit, and reported quiet operation. Those impressions align with the intended use, but they are not a substitute for checking connector clearance and cable length against your own board.

What’s included

The set includes four 6-inch flat guitar patch cables. That gives you several short connections for a board, but the pack does not provide different lengths, so it is best suited to layouts where the same short reach works between pedals. The product details identify indoor use and guitar pedal connection as the intended setting.

Before you decide

Will these connect guitar pedals? Yes. They use male-to-male 1/4-inch TS connectors and are listed for guitar pedal connections.

Are they intended for closely spaced jacks? The low-profile plugs are designed for tight spacing, with the listing specifying jack spacing as tight as 0.2 inch. Check the layout of your particular pedals before choosing them.

How many cables are in the pack? Four, each 6 inches long.

Final verdict

The APC04 is a focused choice for short connections on a tightly arranged pedalboard: its flat cable, low-profile plugs, and four-cable pack address routing and clearance needs without adding longer runs you may not use. A more basic round patch cable may suit a less crowded layout, while a varied-length set is a better match if pedal spacing differs across your board. Choose this pack when the 6-inch reach fits your arrangement and the connectors clear your pedals.
