HONEST OUTFITTERS honest-dog-cover-HOSC-00003 Front Seat Dog Cover, Waterproof PVC

At a glance

A waterproof, nonslip cover helps protect your front seat from pet hair, dirt, and spills. Its four-layer construction combines 600D Oxford cloth, PP cotton, 210D Oxford cloth, and an anti-slip PVC backing. The quilted surface adds a finished look, while the black cover is made for front-seat use in cars, trucks, and SUVs. It measures 58 x 54 x 0.1 inches.

The cover is secured with buckle straps and seat anchors, with side flaps to help shield more of the seat area. Its universal-fit designation makes it a practical choice for drivers looking for a dedicated pet cover for the front seat rather than a full rear-bench cover. The backing and anchors are designed to help keep it in position as your pet settles in.

How it fits

This single front-seat cover is designed for use with dogs, cats, and small animals. For installation, position it over the seat, secure the buckle straps, and set the seat anchors in place. The side flaps extend protection around the seat edges, while the nonslip backing adds grip against the seat surface. These features help create a covered spot for a pet during everyday drives, errands, or longer trips.

The layered materials bring together a waterproof outer surface and a cushioned PP cotton layer. That combination helps keep pet messes off the upholstery while giving your animal a softer surface to sit or lie on. The cover can also be wiped with a damp cloth or cleaned with a vacuum, it is machine washable for a more thorough clean.

Tips for day-to-day use

Secure the straps and seat anchors before your pet gets in, and arrange the side flaps so they cover the seat edges. After a ride, vacuum away loose hair or wipe the surface with a damp cloth. When a deeper clean is needed, machine washing offers another way to refresh the cover. Let the cover’s front-seat format guide your choice if you want protection for one seat instead of a cover spanning the rear bench.

Buyers often praise how easy the cover is to put on and take off, and say it helps keep seats cleaner by catching fur, dirt, and spills. Feedback about fit and staying in place is mixed, as is feedback about long-term durability. The strap-and-anchor setup gives you a clear way to secure the cover, while its washable design supports regular cleanup.

Final verdict

For pet owners who regularly share the front seat with a dog, cat, or small animal, this cover brings together waterproof protection, a nonslip backing, and straightforward cleaning in a single-seat format. The layered construction and included attachment features make it useful for everyday travel when keeping pet mess off the car seat is the priority. A solid pick if you want a dedicated front-seat cover rather than a full-width rear-seat option.
