How to use it
Spread the blanket over a pet bed, couch, or floor area to add a soft resting surface and protect the furniture underneath from pet hair, stains, and small spills. The sherpa side feels fluffy and warm, turn it over for the flannel fleece surface. For a senior dog with occasional light incontinence, the membrane adds a practical layer of protection. Prompt cleanup is recommended, since heavy saturation or prolonged soaking can allow moisture to seep through the seams.
It also packs down when dry for trips in the car, camping, or hotel stays. Compared with choosing a simple fabric throw just to cover furniture, this blanket combines two different fleece surfaces with a waterproof layer, making it useful when a pet’s comfort and everyday surface protection matter together.
Everyday use
Use it as a dedicated cover on a favorite couch spot or as an extra layer over a pet’s sleeping area. The large King dimensions help cover more of the surface, while the reversible design gives you two textures without switching blankets. Tight stitching supports regular use, and the polyester fabric has a lightweight warmth description for comfortable lounging.
Buyer feedback often highlights the blanket’s softness and comfort, including for senior dogs. Comments about water resistance and washing are mixed, so the membrane is best treated as protection for light spills rather than a reason to leave moisture sitting on the fabric. For this King size, household washing machines are not recommended, professional laundry service is advised if cleaning is needed. Washing may also reduce the waterproof layer’s performance.
Before you decide
What are the two sides made of? One side is lined with sherpa and the other with flannel fleece, both made with polyester. You can turn the blanket over to choose the surface for your pet or furniture.
What kind of spills is the waterproof layer designed to handle? The internal TPU membrane is intended to protect against light leaks and small spills. Clean up promptly, heavy saturation or prolonged soaking may lead to seepage through the seams.
How should I clean the King size? Household washing machines are not recommended for this size because the blanket becomes very heavy when wet. If cleaning is necessary, use a professional laundry service, washing can reduce the waterproof layer’s performance.
Is it worth it?
For pet owners looking to cover a couch, floor, or sleeping area with one generously sized blanket, the Bedsure adds useful protection without giving up a soft resting surface. Its reversible sherpa and flannel fleece sides suit everyday lounging, while the TPU layer helps with small spills. That combination makes it a practical choice for home use and for taking along on trips with a pet.
