Doglay Dog Coat with Detachable Harness, XX-Large Waterproof Winter Jacket

XX-Large gives this purple Doglay dog coat a clearly identified size for choosing a layer for cold-weather outings. A fleece lining and warm collar help cover your dog on chilly walks. The built-in harness detaches, so the coat can also be worn on its own. Reflective strips add visibility in low-light conditions.

What stands out

This coat combines a winter layer and a detachable harness in one garment. Attach a leash to the harness for a walk, or remove the harness when your dog is wearing the coat at home. That built-in option offers a different approach from pairing a separate coat with a separate harness, with fewer pieces to coordinate when getting ready to head out.

The fleece lining and warm collar are designed for cold-weather wear, while the waterproof, weather-resistant construction is suited to rainy or snowy outings. Reflective strips appear on the back, collar, and harness, helping make your dog easier to spot during early-morning or evening walks. The neck and belly fasten with adjustable hook-and-loop closures, making it easier to put the coat on and adjust its fit.

Highlights

The coat is made for fall and winter and has a turtleneck style with a solid purple pattern. Its detachable harness supports two uses: leash-ready wear outdoors and standalone coat wear when the harness is not needed. The reflective details are integrated into several areas rather than limited to a single strip, and the closures at the neck and belly make the garment adjustable.

Buyer feedback often highlights warmth, rain protection, comfort, and the convenience of the built-in harness. Fit and ease of putting it on receive mixed comments, some buyers say the coat runs small, while others find it easy to use. Durability feedback is also mixed, including reports of tearing. To choose a size, measure your dog and compare the measurements with the size chart, the product guidance recommends choosing the larger size when between two sizes.

Best use cases

This coat is intended for dog walks, hikes, and outdoor activities in cold, damp weather. It may be especially useful for short-haired dogs, puppies, senior dogs, and dogs sensitive to cold, as the fleece lining and collar provide added coverage. For a quick walk, attach the leash to the built-in harness, for indoor wear, detach the harness and use the coat on its own.

The listed variant is XX-Large, with a stated neck size of 21.45 inches. Since fit depends on your dog’s measurements, use the size chart rather than relying on breed alone. The product is offered in six sizes for small, medium, and large dogs.

Before you decide

Can the harness be removed? Yes. The harness is detachable, so you can use it for leash walks or remove it and wear the coat as a standalone layer.

Is the coat intended for wet or snowy walks? Its waterproof, weather-resistant design is intended to help protect against wind, light rain, snow, and moisture during outdoor use.

How can I choose the right size? Measure your dog and compare the results with the size chart. If your dog falls between sizes, the sizing guidance recommends selecting the larger one.

It suits owners looking for a coat that can be worn with a leash-ready harness outdoors and as a standalone layer at home, with size-chart measurements helping guide the fit.
