FPXRNG Shower Faucet Set with 10-Inch Rain Shower Head

A shower that feels weak or awkward to use can make a daily routine less comfortable. This wall-mounted set pairs a square overhead rain head with a handheld shower head, giving you two ways to direct the water.

The pressure-balance valve is designed to monitor water pressure and adjust temperature, while its two built-in check valves help reduce sudden temperature changes that can cause scalding.

If you prioritize an overhead rainfall feel, the large fixed head is the main draw, if you prefer more control for rinsing, the handheld adds a useful alternative.

Where it shines

The set includes a 10-inch rain shower head, handheld shower head, 71-inch hose, 16-inch shower arm, handheld bracket, mixing valve, trim panel, handle, mode knob, covers, and installation accessories. That combination can make sense for a shower where you want both a fixed overhead spray and a removable head for rinsing or directing water around the enclosure.

The rain head is made from SUS304 stainless steel, and the mixing valve is solid brass. The product also describes an all-metal construction, with a self-cleaning silicone nozzle design intended to resist clogging and make routine cleaning easier. Its ultra-thin head is designed to mix air with water for a rainfall-style spray, including in lower-pressure conditions, that is a product claim, not a guarantee of the pressure in every home.

It’s a great fit if you want a combined rain-and-handheld setup rather than a basic single-head fixture. The stated flow rate is 1.78 gallons per minute, and the valve is listed as cUPC certified and approved by the California Energy Commission.

What to know

This is a full faucet-and-trim kit, not just a replacement shower head. The valve is designed for a standard 1/2-inch US pipe connection, but that alone does not confirm compatibility with every existing plumbing layout. Check the installation instructions and your current setup before choosing it, especially if you plan to replace only part of an existing shower system.

The pressure-balance feature can help manage temperature changes as water pressure shifts, but it should not be treated as a substitute for careful temperature settings. Without having tried it, the practical appeal is the combination of a brass valve and two spray positions, the main unknown from the supplied details is how the spray will feel with your home’s water pressure. Better avoided if you need a confirmed fit for a specific existing valve or want installation details beyond the supplied standard connection information.

Care & maintenance

The silicone nozzles are described as self-cleaning and easy to clean, with resistance to clogging, oxidation, and corrosion. That points to a straightforward upkeep routine: wipe the shower head and trim as needed, and clear residue from the nozzles when buildup becomes visible. No special cleaning method is specified, so avoid assuming that harsh products or tools are suitable.

Read the included instructions before installation. The product also states that it offers 10-year parts replacement, though the supplied details do not explain the coverage terms or claims process.

When it makes sense

Choose this set if you’re updating a shower and want a rainfall-style head plus a handheld option in one wall-mounted package. Picture using the overhead head for a quick shower, then switching to the hose to rinse shampoo or reach a corner of the enclosure. That extra flexibility is the clearest reason to consider it over a simpler fixed-head setup.

If your priority is a particular spray pattern, verified fit with an existing valve, or a fully specified installation process, the available details leave those questions open. For buyers comfortable checking their plumbing and following the supplied instructions, the combination of a pressure-balance valve, brass mixing valve, and two shower heads makes the set worth considering, for a straightforward head-only replacement, its broader kit may be more than the job requires.
