HGD 12pack Fire Color Packets for Wood Fires, 12-Pack

The 12-pack format gives you a simple way to add color-changing effects to a wood fire. Toss a packet into the flames to bring red, blue, and green hues to a fire pit, fireplace, or bonfire, making an evening around the fire feel more festive without changing the wood-fueled setup.

Choose these packets when visual color is part of the gathering, a regular wood fire remains the straightforward choice when you want the familiar look of burning wood alone.

The essentials

HGD’s fire color packets are designed for use with wood and can be added directly to a fire. The changing colors create a visual focal point for camping trips, backyard fire pit nights, and other gatherings where people are watching the flames together. With 12 packets in the pack, you have multiple opportunities to add the effect across your fires rather than relying on a single use.

The product is listed for indoor and outdoor fireplaces, fire pits, and bonfires. For indoor use, use it only in a fireplace designed for a wood fire and follow that fireplace’s operating directions. The packets are an add-on to the fire, not a replacement for the wood fuel.

Buyer feedback commonly calls out the colorful appearance, the fun of watching the flames change, and the straightforward toss-in use. Reports on how consistently packets ignite and how long the display lasts are mixed, so the visual effect may vary from one fire to another.

Everyday use

Using a packet is simple: add it to an active wood fire and watch the flames. That makes it easy to work into a campfire or a fire pit gathering without a separate setup routine. The compact 1-inch-by-1-inch-by-1-inch listed dimensions also make the individual packets small to store with other fire accessories.

The material is listed as stone, and the color-changing effect is described in red, blue, and green. If you are deciding between a basic fire accessory and something that changes the look of the flames, these packets are intended for the decorative option. They add a shared point of interest while the wood fire remains the center of the gathering.

Best use cases

Bring the packets along for camping when a campfire is part of the evening, or keep them handy for a backyard fire pit or wood-burning fireplace gathering. The shifting colors can make the fire more engaging for guests, especially when everyone is seated where they can see the flames. They also suit occasions where the fire is meant to create atmosphere as well as provide a place to gather.

For a practical comparison, choose plain wood when you prefer the usual flame appearance, choose a color packet when you want to introduce red, blue, and green into the scene. Add it to a wood fire according to the fireplace or fire pit’s directions, and keep the product with your fire supplies so it is ready for the next gathering.
