GASPRO fire glass Blue -20IB, 20 lb Reflective Fire Pit Glass, 1/2-Inch Caribbean Blue

For a propane fire pit table that needs a colorful finishing touch, GASPRO Caribbean Blue fire glass creates a reflective surface around the flames. Its mirrored finish catches daylight and glimmers when the fire is on, bringing visual interest to an outdoor entertaining area.

The 1/2-inch tempered glass pieces are made to cover the floor of a fire feature, helping conceal pipes and tubes beneath a clean layer of blue glass. The 20 lb quantity gives you glass to arrange across the fire pit floor according to its layout.

Use it as a decorative alternative to traditional lava rock when a reflective blue look is the priority. After cleaning the glass, let it dry before use.

Best use cases

This fire glass is suited to propane fire pit tables and other fire features where a visible bed of glass can complement the flame. The Caribbean Blue color adds a distinct accent, while the reflective faces create changing highlights as the light shifts from daytime to firelight. It can also help cover exposed pipes and tubes across the fire feature’s floor, so the surface looks more finished when the fire pit is not in use.

For an outdoor gathering, arrange the glass around the burner area to create a decorative focal point without relying on the natural, matte appearance of lava rock. The glass is described as producing no ash or smoke and as resisting melting, degradation, and popping during use. Follow the fire pit’s setup directions when placing fire media, and dry the glass after cleaning before lighting the feature.

Why it makes sense

The main distinction is its mirrored, colored finish: instead of blending into the burner area like conventional lava rock, the blue glass is designed to reflect light and make the fire feature more visually prominent. That makes it a practical choice when the look of the fire pit matters as much as covering its floor. The glass can be used to hide unsightly pipes and tubes while adding a coordinated accent to an outdoor seating or entertaining space.

Buyers often praise the sparkle and reflective appearance, particularly when flames are reflected across the glass. They also mention that the blue color enhances the look of their fire pits. Feedback on piece size is mixed: some find the pieces suitable, while others consider them smaller than expected. These impressions can help inform expectations about the appearance of the finished glass bed, without changing the stated 1/2-inch size.

Is it worth it?

GASPRO fire glass makes sense for anyone refreshing a propane fire pit with a decorative layer that does more than simply fill the burner area. Its Caribbean Blue color, reflective surface, and 1/2-inch block shape combine a distinct visual style with a practical covering for the fire feature’s floor. Choose it when you want the glass itself to catch attention in daylight and around the flames, while helping conceal visible pipes and tubes.
