GASPRO fire glass Gray-20IB, 35 lb reflective black fire pit glass
Product description
Reflective tempered glass gives a fire feature a polished surface that catches light from the flames. GASPRO fire glass Gray-20IB comes in black, with 1/2-inch pieces for a defined decorative layer.
The 35 lb package is intended for natural gas or propane fire pits and fireplaces. Use it to change the look of a fire pit table or fireplace with glass that glistens in daylight and reflects the fire after dark.
Unlike a traditional lava-rock look, this reflective glass puts more emphasis on the fire’s changing light and the surrounding surface. It’s a practical choice when the finish of the fire feature is part of the room or patio design.
Size & fit
Each piece is listed as 1/2 inch, in a block shape, and the package weighs 35 lb. The glass is designed for natural gas or propane fire pits and fireplaces, so it suits setups that use either of those fuel types. When planning a fire pit table, check whether it already comes with fire glass so you can choose the media you need for your setup.
The stated piece size helps set expectations for the look of the surface: this is small decorative glass, not large stones or logs. Buyers describe the reflective appearance and sparkle positively, while feedback on the perceived size of the pieces varies. The listed 1/2-inch size is a useful reference when deciding how that scale will look in your fire feature.
Where it shines
The mirror finish brings out changing light in different settings. In sunlight, the glass glistens, at night, the flames create a multicolored appearance across the reflective pieces. That makes it well suited to a patio fire table or an indoor fireplace where the media is visible and contributes to the overall style.
Fire glass also offers a different upkeep routine from materials that leave ash or soot: this glass emits no ash, soot, or smoke. The manufacturer describes it as heat-resistant for fire-feature use. Clean the glass after receiving it and let it dry before use, as directed.
Customers often highlight the sparkle and the way the color complements the flame. Their comments also reflect different expectations of piece size, so use the stated 1/2-inch measurement as the clearest guide to its scale rather than relying on appearance alone.
