Veise Fingerprint Smart Lock Satin Nickel

How to use it

Fingerprint entry is the standout feature: touch the sensor to unlock the door instead of reaching for a key or entering a code. That can be handy when you come home with groceries or have a child in your arms.

The VE07-H also supports app access, Apple Watch, a web portal, eKeys, fobs, keypad codes, and a mechanical key. The point is flexibility: family members can use a preferred method, while visitors can be given a code instead of a permanent key.

Need to let a cleaner in once, or give a guest access on a schedule? The listing describes one-time, timed, recurring, permanent, and custom codes, plus access logs and the ability to add or remove users through the app. One important distinction: remote access and voice control require the Veise G2 Gateway, which is sold separately.

Pros

The keypad supports more than 250 access codes, and the lock can store up to 50 fingerprints. For a household with different routines, that offers more room to manage access than a basic keypad deadbolt with a small set of shared codes. Auto-lock can be set from 5 to 900 seconds, and the listing also describes one-touch locking and privacy and passage modes.

There are useful fallback options if you do not want to rely on a phone or fingerprint every time: enter a code, use a fob, or keep the mechanical key available. The touchscreen is described as having an anti-peeping keypad, and low-battery alerts are included. The lock is rated IP54 and listed as ANSI/BHMA Grade 3, those details may matter for an exposed entry, though they do not replace checking whether the lock fits your specific door.

The listing claims fingerprint unlocking in 0.3 seconds and 99.99% accuracy. Without having tried it, treat those as stated figures rather than a promise that every scan or setup will behave identically. A fingerprint reader also makes this a less straightforward choice for anyone who would rather use a conventional key or keypad alone.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if you want several ways to manage entry for a busy household, guests, or short-term renters, and would actually use features like individual codes, fingerprints, or access logs. Picture arriving with your hands full and using a fingerprint, then setting a temporary code for a visitor later, that is the kind of everyday convenience this lock is designed around.

It may not suit you if you want remote control or voice commands without buying an additional gateway, or if you need confirmed fit details before choosing a replacement lock. The product information here does not provide door measurements or installation requirements, so check those against your existing setup. Compared with a basic keyed deadbolt, the VE07-H offers more access management, compared with a simpler keypad lock, its added options make sense only if you plan to use them.
