Hazo Haus RUG 002 Dark Brown 2' x 4' Washable Low-Pile Floral Runner

An entryway rug needs to catch everyday dirt, while a decorative accent needs to work with the room. This Hazo Haus runner combines both aims in a compact, dark brown floral design.

Its 2' x 4' rectangular format is sized for an indoor entrance, a kitchen spot, or a bathroom. The low pile keeps the profile modest, and the TPR backing is designed to help the rug grip the floor.

The practical trade-off is cushioning: at 0.25 inches thick, it is a low-profile floor covering rather than a plush rug. That distinction matters if softness underfoot is your main priority.

How to use it

Place the rug indoors where a small runner can add a defined landing area, such as beside an entrance or in front of a kitchen or bathroom workspace. Its 48" L x 24" W dimensions give you a clear sense of the footprint before choosing a spot. The dark brown background and vintage floral pattern, with green vines, red berries, and pale gold blooms, can bring color and detail to a small area without requiring a large rug.

For routine care, vacuum with a soft roller head or dusting brush on the lowest setting. The care directions also specify a gentle machine wash in cold water, with no bleach, air-dry it or use an air-only cycle without heat. If it arrives folded, the supplied guidance says to roll it out and give it time to flatten.

What you’ll notice day to day

The low pile is intended to be easier to vacuum than a deeper, plusher rug, while the machine-washable polyester construction offers a way to clean it more thoroughly. Its stain-resistant and water-resistant features may be useful around everyday indoor traffic, though they should not be treated as a substitute for cleaning spills promptly. The non-slip TPR backing is designed to help it stay in place on the floor.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights the appearance, soft feel, muted colors, grip, and ease of washing. Opinions on thickness and durability are mixed: some buyers consider it suitably thin and say it holds up, while others describe it as too thin or report edge fraying or separation from the backing. Those comments are perceptions, not a guarantee of how it will perform in every home. Compared with a thicker rug, this one prioritizes a lower profile over extra padding.

The essentials

• Size: 2' x 4' (48" L x 24" W)
• Material: Polyester
• Backing: Thermoplastic rubber (TPR)
• Pile: Low pile, 0.25 inches thick
• Shape and form: Rectangular runner
• Color and pattern: Dark brown, vintage floral
• Use: Indoor
• Care: Machine wash, gentle cold-water cycle, no bleach, and dry without heat

It suits you if you want a compact, washable indoor runner with a vintage floral look and a low profile. It might not be a great match if you are choosing primarily for a thick, cushioned feel.

Questions before you buy

Can it be machine washed? Yes. The care directions call for a gentle cold-water wash and no bleach, followed by air-drying or an air-only cycle without heat.

Is the backing designed to grip the floor? Yes. It has a TPR backing described as non-slip. Actual grip can depend on the floor and how the rug is used.

Is it a thick, cushioned rug? No. It is specified as low pile and 0.25 inches thick, so it has a more modest profile than a plush rug.

Buying verdict

Choose this Hazo Haus rug when the priority is a small, low-profile runner that adds a dark floral accent and can be machine washed. The entryway, kitchen, or bathroom are the clearest use cases in the product details. Its compact size and listed grip suit a defined indoor spot, buyers who want more cushioning or expect heavy wear should weigh the mixed feedback on thickness and durability before deciding.
