ToyUnited M098 Magnetic Building Blocks, 100-Piece Plastic STEM Set
Product description
The 100-piece format gives kids a collection of magnetic cubes for stacking and building. Made of plastic, the blocks feature colorful designs and patterns that invite hands-on exploration.
Each cube connects magnetically, making it easy to assemble structures and scenes. An instruction manual with 14 pattern ideas offers a starting point for building.
Use the set for independent play, shared projects, or classroom activities. Its open-ended building format gives children room to create rather than follow just one fixed construction.
Best use cases
These magnetic blocks suit play sessions centered on stacking, making structures, and inventing scenes. Children can begin with a pattern from the instruction manual, then rearrange the cubes to explore their own designs. The magnetic connections support hands-on assembly, while the different colors and patterns give each creation visual variety.
For group activities, children can build side by side or work together on a shared scene. At home, the set offers a screen-free activity that combines construction with sensory exploration. Its educational focus includes creative thinking, hand-eye coordination, and logical thinking, so the play can involve both making and planning.
Why it’s worth it
A key advantage is the freedom to build in more than one way. Rather than a toy designed around a single finished model, the magnetic cubes can be stacked and recombined into different structures. That makes the set useful for children who enjoy experimenting with shapes and changing a design as they go.
The manufacturer describes the blocks as having sealed edges and a durable structure, and identifies the material as non-toxic plastic. Buyers often highlight the ease of connecting the blocks and the range of creative possibilities. Some also report that the blocks are smaller than they expected, while others are satisfied with their size, so expectations about scale vary.
