Luminara 996073 Flameless LED Pillar Candles, Ivory Set of 3 with Remote
Product description
An ivory candle display on a dining table or bedroom dresser can add a soft flicker without an open flame. The Luminara 996073 set includes three pillar candles in graduated heights. Each has a moving LED flame effect and a melted-look top. A remote and built-in timer make routine operation simpler.

Practical tips
Use the three heights together to create a tiered centerpiece, or place them in separate spots where a cordless light source is useful. The remote can operate the candles together when they are placed close to one another, which suits a grouped display. Each candle also has a switch on its base, so it can be operated without the remote. The timer is designed for a repeating daily cycle: after the five-hour on period, it stays off for 19 hours before turning on again.
The paraffin-wax bodies and moving LED effect are intended to look more like traditional pillar candles than a stationary, plastic-looking light. That makes this set worth considering when appearance matters alongside flameless operation. It is an indoor-only choice, though, the listed water-resistance level is not water resistant, so it is not suited to an outdoor table exposed to weather. For a simpler display, a basic flameless candle may cover the same decorative need, while this set adds three coordinated heights, a remote, and a timer.
What you get
The package is listed as including the LED candles and a remote control. The remote uses a CR2025 coin battery, which the product details say is included. The candles themselves require two AA batteries each, and those are not identified as included. Factor that into setup if the set is intended for immediate use.
Buyer feedback often highlights the realistic-looking flicker, the convenience of the remote, and the timer’s automatic schedule. Reliability and battery life receive more mixed comments: some buyers report satisfactory use, while others describe units stopping or failing sooner than expected. Those reports are individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how a particular set will perform.
Before you decide
Does the set include batteries for the candles? The product details specify two AA batteries per candle but do not list them as included. The remote’s CR2025 battery is listed as included.
Can the candles turn on and off automatically? Yes. The timer setting turns them off after 5 hours and back on 19 hours later.
Can they be used outdoors? They are listed for indoor use and are not water resistant, so outdoor use is not specified.
Final verdict
A solid pick if you want three matching ivory pillars with a moving flame effect, remote operation, and a repeating timer for an indoor display. You may want to skip it if the candles need to sit outdoors or if you prefer a real flame, this set is battery-powered and designed for decoration rather than weather exposure.
