LUMI Natural Jute 24 x 36 Indoor Door Mat, Handwoven with TPR Backing

The 24 x 36-inch size gives the LUMI Natural Jute Indoor Door Mat room to sit across an entryway or hallway, while its handwoven jute surface brings a braided, rustic look to the space.

A thermoplastic rubber backing is designed to help the mat stay in place. The listed 0.28-inch thickness makes it a low-pile option for an indoor doorway.

Choose it for a home entrance that needs a natural-fiber look and a mat for everyday foot traffic. If your priority is a machine-washable mat or one specifically rated for outdoor use, this listing does not describe those features.

Highlights

Jute fibers and the braided pattern give this mat a textured, farmhouse-style appearance, with a black border that defines the edge. The design is intended to suit an entryway, hallway, dining room, patio, or porch, though the product is specified for indoor use. Its 24 x 36-inch footprint is suited to covering a broader section of a doorway than a small, narrow mat, so consider the available floor space before choosing it.

The TPR backing is described as non-slip, and the product details also list dirt resistance and resistance to shedding. Those features may be useful where people regularly come in and out, but they do not replace checking that the mat lies flat on your particular floor. It weighs 3 pounds and is sold as one piece. It’s a great fit if you want a handwoven natural-fiber accent for an indoor entrance, a more basic, smaller mat may make more sense when floor space is limited.

Maintenance

Care instructions specify dry cleaning, shaking the mat outside, and spot cleaning only. That makes routine care straightforward for loose dirt, but it is not the same as being able to machine-wash the whole mat. The product description also mentions vacuuming, while the care details emphasize shaking and spot cleaning, follow the stated care restrictions when deciding how you would maintain it.

Its natural jute construction and indoor-use designation are important practical details. It might not be a great match if you need a mat explicitly intended for outdoor exposure or want to wash it in a machine. For an indoor entry, periodic shaking or careful spot treatment is the supported approach.

Practical tips

Before ordering, compare the 24 x 36-inch dimensions with the clear floor area around your door and account for the mat’s 0.28-inch thickness. In a hallway or entryway, place it where it can lie flat without interfering with the door’s movement. The rubber backing is intended to reduce slipping, but the listing does not specify compatibility with every floor finish, so check how it sits once positioned.

For a home where visitors track in loose dirt, shaking the mat outside can help remove debris without soaking the jute. If the main need is an outdoor mat exposed to the elements, this product’s indoor designation points toward choosing a different type. The trade-off is practical: its woven natural-fiber look suits an indoor decor-focused entrance, while a mat built specifically for outdoor conditions would better match that use.

Is it worth it?

This LUMI mat is worth considering when size, handwoven jute, a black border, and a TPR backing match what you want for an indoor doorway. It combines a defined 24 x 36-inch footprint with a low-pile profile and care instructions that favor shaking and spot cleaning rather than machine washing. Those details make it easier to judge whether it fits your space and routine. Choose it for an indoor entry where appearance and a natural-fiber surface matter, look elsewhere if outdoor use or machine-washable care is essential.
