Dolavast HY-6163-5/42 42-Inch Low-Profile Ceiling Fan with Light

For bedrooms, home offices, and other rooms that benefit from gentle airflow and adjustable lighting, this 42-inch ceiling fan combines both in a flush-mount design. Control fan speed, lighting, and timers with the included remote or through the app. Reversible blades and a reversible motor add flexibility throughout the year.

Size & fit

The 42-inch fan measures 42"D x 42"W x 11"H and is described as suitable for rooms from 72–144 sq. ft., including bedrooms, dining rooms, offices, and kitchens. Its low-profile, flush-mount format keeps the fan close to the ceiling, making it a practical choice when you want an integrated fan-and-light setup rather than separate fixtures. Five reversible blades offer a choice of white or warm oak tones to complement different room styles.

Why it makes sense

The DC motor delivers six speeds and airflow rated at 4,200 CFM, so you can select a setting for everyday circulation or stronger cooling. A Natural Wind mode varies the speed from one to six and back down, while the 2-, 4-, and 8-hour timer options let you schedule automatic shutoff. The motor is rated at 20 dB, a detail that may matter in spaces where a quieter fan is welcome.

The integrated 20W LED lets you set the brightness from 5% to 100% and choose warm, neutral, or cool white light. A memory function retains the brightness and color setting after the light has been on for 15 seconds. That makes it easier to keep a preferred lighting setup for reading, working, or winding down without adding a separate dimmer-controlled fixture.

Buyers often praise the fan’s quiet operation, airflow, appearance, and the convenience of remote adjustments, some also highlight the lighting choices and installation experience. Feedback on reliability is mixed, with some buyers reporting that their fan stopped working. Compared with a fan that offers airflow alone, this model brings adjustable LED lighting and app or remote control into the same ceiling fixture. A solid pick if you want those functions together in a low-profile design.
