Decute KM805 8.5-Inch LCD Writing Tablets, 2-Pack, Dinosaur Design

The 8.5-inch format gives kids a compact surface for drawing, doodling, and writing quick notes. This two-pack comes in blue and green with a colorful dinosaur design.

Each tablet uses an LCD screen and an ABS frame. A stylus lets children make drawings and marks, while the erase control clears the screen when they’re ready to start again.

For trips or everyday activities at home, a portable writing board offers a reusable alternative to paper and crayons. These tablets are designed for drawing, simple writing, and entertainment on the go.

Who it’s for

The Decute KM805 is made for kids who enjoy sketching, doodling, or making quick lists. Its dinosaur design gives the board a playful look, and the two colors make it easy to tell the blue and green tablets apart. At home, they can be used for free drawing or simple study activities, on a car ride or at a restaurant, they give children a compact activity to focus on.

It suits you if you want a screen-based drawing surface that’s easy to carry, rather than a paper-based activity that needs fresh sheets and drawing supplies. The stylus is attached with an anti-loss lanyard, helping keep it close to the board between uses.

What you’ll notice day to day

Children can use the stylus to draw, scribble, or write, then clear the screen with the erase control. A screen lock helps keep a drawing or note from being erased by accident, which is useful when a child wants to hold on to a picture before starting another one. The board is intended for everyday use in places such as the living room, car, or during travel.

The writing tablets are lightweight and portable, so they’re practical to pack for a road trip, a flight, or an outing. Buyers often highlight the boards’ portability and ease of use, and some say they help keep children entertained while traveling. Feedback about functionality is mixed, including differing experiences with the erase button, so the erase and lock controls are worth getting familiar with.

When it makes sense

Choose this set for children’s drawing and writing activities when you want a compact board that can move from the table to the car or a travel bag. The erase function supports repeated use for new sketches and notes, while the lock is handy for keeping a finished drawing on screen a little longer. Having two boards also makes it easier to offer one to each child or keep one ready in a different room.

For a structured activity with paper, crayons, or a larger drawing area, a traditional art set may better match the task. The KM805 focuses on portable, quick-start doodling and simple writing, with a colorful LCD surface and a stylus that stays attached. It’s a practical fit for families looking for an easy-to-carry activity for home and travel.
