CHEERFUN H053 8-Inch LCD Writing Tablet, Pink Reusable Doodle Board

Some kids’ activities are best on paper, others are easier to take along and reuse. The CHEERFUN H053 LCD writing tablet gives kids a screen for drawing, writing, coloring, and simple notes without a stack of pages to carry.

Its pressure-sensitive surface creates lines as a child presses with the stylus, making it useful for free drawing as well as early writing practice. A lock helps protect a finished picture or note from accidental erasure.

At 8 inches, the pink tablet is designed for children’s creative play at home, school, or on the go. The one-button erase function clears the screen for a fresh activity, while its slim, lightweight design makes it convenient to bring along for a car ride or flight.

Best use cases

This reusable doodle board works for open-ended drawing, coloring, writing practice, and quick family messages. At home, a child can sketch, erase, and start again without changing activities or gathering more paper. For travel, it offers a quiet activity that fits into a day bag and can be used in the car or on an airplane. The manufacturer also lists home, school, and church as intended settings.

The pressure-sensitive LCD responds to how firmly the stylus is pressed, so children can explore making different lines as they draw. When they are ready to move on, a button clears the screen, when a drawing is worth keeping, the lock function helps prevent an accidental clear. It’s a practical format for families choosing between disposable coloring pages and a reusable surface for repeated doodling.

Why it makes sense

The H053 combines several everyday activities in one compact format: kids can draw, practice writing, color, or jot down a note on the same reusable screen. That flexibility makes it useful beyond a single craft session. A parent can bring it out for a short drawing activity at home, then pack it for a trip without needing a supply of paper and coloring sheets.

Buyer feedback often highlights ease of use and portability, especially for toddlers and travel. Some buyers also report mixed functionality, and others find the display dim, so visibility can matter when choosing a drawing activity for a particular setting. These perspectives are useful alongside the practical features: a pressure-sensitive screen, a quick erase button, and a lock for keeping a drawing in place.

Is it worth it?

For families looking for a reusable drawing surface rather than a traditional paper-based activity, the CHEERFUN H053 brings drawing, writing, and quick notes together in a portable 8-inch format. The pressure-sensitive screen encourages hands-on doodling, while one-button erasing makes it easy to begin again and the lock helps preserve a favorite creation. It’s especially suited to everyday creative play and travel, where a compact activity that can be reused is useful.
