Decute KM806 LCD Writing Tablet, 8.5-Inch Purple Unicorn Doodle Board

For parents looking for a reusable drawing surface for young children, the Decute KM806 is an 8.5-inch purple LCD writing tablet with a unicorn design.

A one-button erase function clears the screen, and a lock is intended to help prevent accidental erasing. What’s useful about that combination? Children can doodle or write, then keep a screen they want to show someone from being cleared by mistake.

Its compact format is aimed at home use and travel, including car rides, restaurants, and other outings. The product is marketed for children ages 3–12.

Getting the most from it

Use the board for quick sketches, doodles, or simple notes when paper and drawing supplies would be less convenient to carry. The stylus is used to write or draw, and the product description says it can also act as a stand. A screen lock can help preserve a drawing while the tablet is being moved, when it is time to start again, the erase control clears the display.

That makes it a different kind of activity from a paper sketchpad: it offers a reusable surface rather than a stack of sheets to keep or take along. It suits you if you want a lightweight-feeling format for casual drawing and writing during everyday trips, rather than a device described as saving or exporting artwork. No such storage function is listed.

Buyers commonly describe the board as entertaining, portable, and easy for children to use, and some appreciate that drawing does not create paper scraps or marker mess. Feedback on function is not uniform, though: some report trouble with the erase button. That matters because clearing the display is central to reusing the tablet, so it is worth considering alongside the positive comments.

What’s included

The product details list mounting hardware as an included component. The description also refers to using a stylus, but the included-components field does not give a complete package inventory. Battery information is inconsistent across the listing, so the exact supplied battery should not be assumed from those details alone.

What to clarify

Can the drawing be erased? The product description specifies a one-button erase function. It also describes a screen lock to help prevent accidental clearing.

What is the tablet made of? The listed frame and material are ABS, and the tablet is described as purple.

Which battery does it use? The specifications mention an included C battery, while the product description names a CR2032. Since those details conflict, confirm the battery type before relying on either one.

Final verdict

The KM806 is a straightforward pick for children who want to draw or write on a reusable board at home or while traveling. Its unicorn styling, erase control, and screen lock give it a clear use case, while mixed buyer feedback about erasing and unclear battery details are practical points to weigh. If keeping or sharing finished artwork is important, the listing does not establish that this tablet can save drawings.
