DbillionDa cat8 6ft ethernet cable, Cat 8 RJ45, 40 Gbps, Weatherproof

Connect a router to a gaming console, PC, or network switch with a 6 ft wired link. This DbillionDa Cat 8 Ethernet cable has shielded RJ45 connectors and a weather-resistant PVC jacket for indoor or outdoor network runs.

Its 26 AWG conductors and F/FTP shielding are designed for high-speed data transmission while helping reduce interference. The cable supports up to 40 Gbps and 2000 MHz.

Use it to connect compatible equipment with an RJ45 port, from a home router or modem to a PS5, Xbox, server, or smart TV.

Usage tips

Connect the male RJ45 plug at each end to the RJ45 ports on your network equipment. The 6 ft length suits nearby devices, such as a console beside a router or a desktop connected to a switch. For an outdoor run, the waterproof, UV-resistant PVC jacket is designed for outdoor use and direct burial. Plan the route around the equipment locations so the cable can reach without pulling on the connectors.

This cable also works with Cat 7, Cat 6, Cat 5e, and Cat 5 devices. That makes it useful when adding a cable to a mixed network setup, while the connected devices and network equipment determine the connection they can use.

What stands out

F/FTP shielding uses foil around the twisted pairs to help limit electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. That design is useful in busy home network areas where cables run near other electronics. Its 26 AWG conductors support a high-load network connection, and the RJ45 ends make it suitable for common wired networking tasks such as connecting a router to a console or linking a switch to a PC.

The PVC jacket is described as waterproof, weatherproof, corrosion-resistant, and UV-resistant. These properties support both indoor installations and outdoor routing, including direct burial. For buyers choosing between a basic indoor patch cable and one intended for more demanding placement, the weather-resistant jacket and shielding are practical distinctions.

Customers often praise the cable’s speed and sturdy connectors, with gaming consoles among the uses they mention. Feedback on connectivity and flexibility varies, so routing it neatly and matching its length to the equipment layout can help with setup.

Is it worth it?

For a short wired connection between a router, modem, switch, computer, or game console, this cable combines Cat 8 performance specifications with shielded RJ45 connectors and a jacket suited to indoor or outdoor runs. Its 6 ft length fits setups where devices are close together, while backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet categories makes it a practical fit for networks containing different generations of equipment.
