Snowkids Snowkids-Cat8-6.6FT-40Gbps-2000MHz Cat 8 Ethernet Cable, Flat Braided, 2-Pack

For a gaming or home network setup that calls for a direct wired connection, the Snowkids Cat 8 Ethernet cable pairs a flat braided design with support for up to 40Gbps and 2000MHz. Each cable is 6.6 ft long, and the pack includes two. Choose a compact cable run for a nearby device, or use the flat profile when routing along a floor or around corners matters.

Key features

This Cat 8 cable has male-to-male RJ45 connectors and is designed for Ethernet connections between compatible devices such as a router, modem, personal computer, server, or Xbox. Its stated data transfer rate is up to 40Gbps, with 2000MHz bandwidth. Actual network speeds depend on the connected equipment and service, but the Cat 8 format gives you a clearly defined cable category for a high-speed wired setup.

The shielded S/FTP construction uses four pairs of foiled twisted-pair copper wires. The product details also describe gold-plated RJ45 connectors. Together, these design elements make it a practical choice when you want a shielded cable connection between network devices. It is backward compatible with Cat 7, Cat 6e, Cat 6, Cat 5e, and Cat 5 Ethernet cable categories, making it suitable for compatible RJ45 equipment across different network setups.

A flat nylon braid helps the cable flex around corners and sit close to surfaces, which can be useful when organizing a run along a wall, floor, or carpet. The manufacturer also describes a double-layer weave intended for wear resistance. Buyers often mention the cable’s connection stability, speed, and sturdy feel, these are customer impressions rather than a guarantee of performance on every network.

Practical tips

The two 6.6 ft cables are suited to separate short connections, such as linking a computer and a console to network equipment. Before routing, consider where each device sits and how you want the cable to follow the room: a flat profile can make it easier to guide along an edge or around a corner than a round cable. For a gaming PC or console near a router, connect the male RJ45 ends to the corresponding Ethernet ports and use the wired link for network access. The cable is specified for indoor and outdoor use.

Who it’s for

This two-pack is useful for people setting up wired connections for gaming, computers, routers, modems, or servers with RJ45 ports. It also suits shoppers who want two cables for separate devices rather than one longer cable for a single route. If your priority is a cable that can follow a low-profile path around room edges, its flat braided construction is a relevant feature, if your setup is mainly about choosing a cable category for a high-speed network, Cat 8 and its stated bandwidth are the key details.

Questions before you buy

What devices can I connect? Use the cable with compatible equipment that has an RJ45 Ethernet port. Listed examples include routers, modems, personal computers, servers, and Xbox systems.

Can I use it with an older Ethernet setup? Yes. The cable is backward compatible with Cat 7, Cat 6e, Cat 6, Cat 5e, and Cat 5 categories, for compatible RJ45 connections.

What comes in the pack? The package is a two-pack of 6.6 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cables, so you can make two separate connections.

Is it worth it?

For a setup that benefits from wired Ethernet and needs two short cable runs, this Snowkids pack brings together Cat 8 connectivity, a flat braided profile, and male-to-male RJ45 ends. It’s a solid pick if you’re connecting nearby gaming or computer equipment and want cables that can be routed neatly around room edges.
