Cool Toner 218X 4-Pack Compatible Toner Cartridges with Chip, Black and Color

For printing office documents, reports, and color pages on a compatible Color LaserJet Pro, this Cool Toner 218X set replaces all four toner colors at once. The pack includes black, cyan, yellow, and magenta cartridges, each with a chip already installed, so there is no need to transfer the chip from an original cartridge.

It is a compatible, non-HP set intended for select 3201 and 3301 series printers, rather than a universal toner replacement.

Worth noting

The set contains one W2180X black cartridge and one each of W2181X cyan, W2182X yellow, and W2183X magenta. The listed yields are up to 3,200 pages for black and 2,500 pages for each color cartridge, based on Letter/A4 paper at 5% coverage. Actual output depends on what you print, so pages with substantial images or color coverage may not match those figures.

Buyer feedback is positive about installation and fit for some users, but reports on print quality and printer compatibility are mixed. Some describe good results, while others mention streaks or trouble getting the cartridges to work with their printer. That variation matters when choosing a compatible replacement over an original-brand cartridge.

How to use it

This set is listed for the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3201dw and 3301fdw, plus the Color LaserJet Pro 3301cdw and 3301sdw. Confirm your exact printer model against that list before ordering, a similar model name alone does not establish compatibility. Since the chips are preinstalled, the supplied cartridges do not require transferring an OEM chip.

A solid pick if you need all four toner colors for one of the listed printers and want a single compatible set. It may not suit you if you prefer original HP cartridges or need a toner with compatibility and print performance that are not subject to the mixed reports noted by buyers.

Practical tips

Check the printer’s full model designation before replacing toner, especially if your device belongs to a nearby series. When estimating how long the set may last, use the stated page yields as reference figures rather than a promise: the published estimates assume 5% coverage on Letter/A4 pages. If you mainly print graphics, photos, or densely colored pages, your usage differs from that benchmark.

For routine office printing, replacing the four colors together can be convenient when the full set is due. If you only need one color, this four-cartridge pack may not match that replacement need as closely as buying a single cartridge. Keep in mind that buyer experiences with compatible cartridges vary, including reports of print streaks and model-recognition issues.

Practical questions

Which printers are listed as compatible? The listed models are the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3201dw and 3301fdw, and the Color LaserJet Pro 3301cdw and 3301sdw.

What comes in the pack? One black, one cyan, one yellow, and one magenta 218X cartridge, all with chips installed.

How many pages are they rated to print? The stated yield is up to 3,200 pages for black and up to 2,500 pages for each color cartridge, using Letter/A4 paper at 5% coverage.

Final verdict

This four-pack is worth considering when you need a complete set of compatible toner for one of the specifically listed printers and the built-in chips are useful for a direct cartridge replacement. The stated yields offer a planning reference, but the mixed buyer reports make exact printer matching especially important. If consistent compatibility is your priority, compare this compatible set with an original-brand replacement before deciding.
