Product description
Pressed on 180g “My Kink Is Coral” color vinyl, this Anniversary Edition of Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess brings the album’s bold pop hooks and candid songwriting to a two-LP set. Its gatefold jacket, embossed die-cut O-card, and Mylar glitter star inserts give the edition a distinctive presentation for displaying or adding to a vinyl collection.
The album follows a vivid story of self-discovery and first queer love, including the imperfect moments in between. For listeners who want the music in a collectible physical format, this edition pairs the full-album experience with memorable packaging.
The essentials
This limited-edition release is a two-LP set on 180g coral-colored vinyl. The anniversary presentation includes a gatefold jacket, an embossed die-cut O-card, and Mylar glitter star inserts, making the packaging part of the appeal alongside the music. The album was written by Chappell Roan with Dan Nigro and brings together pop hooks, sex positivity, and honest songwriting around a coming-of-age journey.
Buyers often highlight the song selection, Roan’s vocals, and the album’s visual presentation. That combination makes the set appealing both for listeners drawn to the music and for fans who value a distinctive physical edition. Compared with choosing a digital version for convenient listening, this set is geared toward enjoying the album on vinyl and keeping its anniversary artwork on display.
How it fits
This release suits listeners looking for Chappell Roan’s album on vinyl, as well as collectors interested in a limited anniversary edition with color vinyl and detailed packaging. Its two-LP format offers a tangible way to revisit the album as a complete release, while the gatefold and O-card add visual detail when the set is stored or displayed. It also makes a thoughtful music gift for someone who enjoys expressive pop and album artwork with a strong, colorful identity.
The album’s subject matter centers on self-discovery, transformation, and falling in love for the first time. That narrative gives the collection a clear emotional thread for listeners who prefer an album with a story running through its songs rather than a set chosen only for individual tracks.
How to use it
Play the two records on a compatible turntable, following the turntable’s usual setup and handling guidance for vinyl. The two-LP format is designed for listening to the album as a physical record set, handle the records by their edges and return them to their sleeves after playback. The gatefold jacket and O-card can also be kept with the records to preserve the edition’s full presentation.
For a listening session, set aside time to follow the album’s arc from its opening through its reflections on love and change. The coral color vinyl and illustrated packaging also make the set a natural choice for a collection display when it is not being played.
