BumaiGo CM1002 Cat Scratching Mat, Beige, 78.7 x 15.8-Inch Self-Adhesive Carpet

Protect a sofa arm, wall corner, or door with a designated place for your cat to scratch. The BumaiGo CM1002 is a beige, self-adhesive mat with a carpet-like texture for indoor scratching.

Need a longer strip for a favorite furniture edge, or a smaller piece for a cat tree? The single-sheet design can be trimmed to fit the area you want to cover.

Its generous length also makes it useful for larger surfaces. Where would a purpose-made scratching spot help redirect your cat’s claws at home?

Quick sizing guide

The mat measures 78.7 inches long by 15.8 inches wide and 0.2 inches thick. Use it as a long strip on a sofa or wall, or cut it to suit a smaller area, such as a stair edge or part of a cat tree. That flexibility makes it a practical choice when a standard-sized scratching pad does not match the shape of the furniture you want to protect.

Plan the placement around where your cat already scratches or spends time. The mat is intended for indoor use on furniture and other surfaces, including sofas, walls, doors, beds, and cat trees. Its beige color offers a neutral look alongside many home furnishings.

Pros

A carpet-like surface gives cats a specific place to work their claws and release scratching energy, while the mat helps cover the furniture beneath it. The self-adhesive backing is designed for peel-and-stick installation, so there is no separate frame to position. For a custom project, trim the sheet to fit corners, steps, or existing scratching structures.

Buyer feedback often highlights ease of application, cats’ interest in using the mat, and its usefulness on furniture. Experiences with adhesion and durability vary, however, so the results can depend on the surface and the cat’s scratching habits. The practical advantage is its adaptable sheet format: rather than choosing between a small pad and a fixed-size scratcher, you can shape the covering for a particular spot.

For example, cut a section to cover the exposed side of a sofa arm or fit a piece to a wall corner your cat targets. This creates a dedicated scratching area right where protection is needed, without changing the rest of the room’s setup.
