Woolygon CCVBNDL Merino Wool Cat Cave, Foldable Paw Hideaway

Give your cat a quiet place to nap, tuck away, or perch during the day with the Woolygon Merino wool cat cave. Its felted pod design creates a cozy hideaway, while the top can also serve as a resting spot—so one piece offers two comfortable places to settle.

Made from 100% Merino wool and hand-felted in Nepal, this foldable cat cave brings a natural-material option to your cat’s indoor resting area. The Paw design adds a distinctive look to a living room, bedroom, or favorite corner.

Size & fit

At 17 x 16 x 12 inches, the cave offers a defined space for curling up inside or lounging on top. It is designed for cats and described as a medium hideaway for average-sized indoor cats, with a snug pod shape that gives them a more enclosed place to rest. Its foldable design makes it easy to move between rooms or put away when you want to change the setup.

The enclosed interior and open top support different lounging habits: a cat can retreat inside for a nap or settle above the cave. Natural wool is also described as helping maintain comfort in both colder and warmer conditions, making the cave a versatile spot through changing seasons.

What you’ll notice day to day

The felted Merino wool gives this cat cave a soft, natural-texture feel and a cozy appearance. Use it as a dedicated nap spot, a quiet retreat during household activity, or an elevated place to lounge. Because the cave is lightweight and foldable, it can be repositioned without making a permanent change to your cat’s space.

Customer feedback often highlights the cave’s appearance, wool material, and the way cats use it for resting. Opinions on size and shape are mixed: some buyers find it roomy enough for one larger cat, while others feel it is smaller than expected or does not hold its shape consistently. Those varied impressions are useful context when deciding where to place it and how it fits your cat’s preferred lounging style.

Compared with a simple flat bed, this design provides an enclosed nook as well as a top resting surface. That combination is useful for cats who alternate between curling up in a sheltered spot and lounging in the open.
