Brozzag BG-R-Cat6/5E-50FT-BK Outdoor Cat 6 Ethernet Cable, 50ft

An outdoor network run calls for a cable built to handle exposure, while an indoor connection may prioritize a clean, flexible route between devices. The Brozzag BG-R-Cat6/5E-50FT-BK is a 50-foot Cat 6 Ethernet cable designed for outdoor and direct-burial installations, with an LLDPE jacket described as resistant to water and UV exposure. Its RJ45 connectors make it suitable for connecting network equipment across a yard, garage, or other spaces where a standard indoor run may not fit the job.

It supports data rates up to 10 Gbps and bandwidth up to 550 MHz, with 24AWG conductors and four twisted pairs.

Key takeaways

This cable combines a Cat 6 connection with a jacket intended for outdoor and in-ground use. That makes it useful for linking a router or network switch to an outdoor camera, wireless access point, or another RJ45 device when the route extends beyond the home’s interior. The 50-foot length offers room to plan a run between separated points, and the black, round cable can be routed through a garage or along a planned outdoor path.

RJ45 male-to-male connectors connect to compatible ports on routers, servers, PCs, laptops, modems, printers, televisions, projectors, and gaming consoles. The cable supports Cat 5e and Cat 6 network use, and its four twisted pairs are designed to help limit external interference. For power over Ethernet, it is recommended for low-power devices, check the device’s requirements for high-power PoE use.

Size & fit

At 50 feet, this cable suits installations where the network source and destination are not close together. It can serve a home office in a backyard building, connect equipment across a garage, or provide a cable route toward an outdoor surveillance setup. Measure the intended path, including turns and the distance needed to reach each device, so the cable can follow the route without being stretched taut.

For a buried installation, the LLDPE jacket is specified for direct burial and outdoor exposure, including sun and rain. The product is designed for in-ground use without conduit, giving installers a straightforward option when planning a cable route between buildings or across a yard. A bulk spool or custom-length approach may suit larger wiring projects, this 50-foot cable is the more focused choice for a single, defined connection.

Everyday use

Connect the RJ45 ends to compatible network ports for a wired link between devices. The cable is intended for indoor as well as outdoor use, so the same 50-foot run can serve a route through a garage or extend to an exterior location. Its stated speed support of up to 10 Gbps and 550 MHz bandwidth makes it suitable for Cat 6 network communication, with actual connection speed also depending on the connected network equipment and service.

Buyers commonly highlight the useful length, straightforward setup, and dependable-feeling connectors. Those comments align with practical tasks such as placing a router connection farther from a network device or routing a cable to an exterior camera. The product also carries a RoHS specification.

Buying verdict

Choose the Brozzag BG-R-Cat6/5E-50FT-BK when a single 50-foot RJ45 run needs to work indoors or outdoors, including a direct-burial route. Its Cat 6 format, weather-oriented LLDPE jacket, and support for up to 10 Gbps make it a practical fit for extending a wired network to a garage, backyard workspace, or low-power PoE device. It makes sense if you need a defined-length cable for a specific connection rather than a bulk spool for a larger installation.
