Aurant R5 15.6-Inch Laptop, Ryzen R5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Backlit Keyboard
Product description
A backlit full-size keyboard makes the Aurant R5 easier to use in dim rooms, while its built-in numeric keypad gives spreadsheet entry a dedicated layout.
The 15.6-inch screen and Windows 11 Home are aimed at everyday tasks such as browsing, schoolwork, and office use. Its 1.6 kg body is listed as lightweight for carrying between home, class, or work.
The choice is between a portable everyday computer and a higher-spec machine for more demanding workloads. This model’s listed 8GB of RAM and 128GB SSD are geared toward routine use, the product information does not establish suitability for intensive creative or gaming tasks.

The resolution description is inconsistent, so buyers who need a specific screen resolution should confirm the exact configuration before choosing. That matters for detailed work and media viewing, the 15.6-inch size alone does not settle the resolution question.
Practical tips
For a school or home-work setup, the numeric keypad can help with entering figures, and the fingerprint reader offers another way to unlock the laptop. The HDMI port can be useful when connecting to an external display, while the TF card slot gives you an option to expand storage beyond the listed 128GB SSD. The product description does not specify what TF card is included, if any.
The processor and memory are described for routine office tasks, web browsing, and multitasking. That makes this a more relevant fit for documents, online work, and everyday study than a laptop chosen specifically for demanding workloads. A solid pick if your priority is a general-purpose Windows laptop with a larger screen and built-in number pad. It might not be a great match if your decision depends on a confirmed display resolution or workloads beyond those described.
Buyers report positive impressions of everyday performance and school use, and some specifically praise the screen and lightweight design. Those comments are useful context, but they do not resolve the conflicting HD and FHD screen descriptions in the product information.
How to use it
Set it up as a Windows 11 Home computer for browsing, documents, and everyday office or school tasks. Use the backlit keyboard when the room is dim, and the numeric keypad when entering figures. For more storage, the listing says the MicroSD/TF slot supports cards up to 1TB. If your routine involves lots of files, consider whether the stated 128GB SSD plus expandable storage suits how you work.
Questions before you buy
Can storage be expanded? The product information says the TF card slot supports cards up to 1TB, it does not state that a card is included.
Does it have a numeric keypad and backlighting? Yes. The keyboard is described as full-size, backlit, and equipped with an independent numeric keypad.
What screen resolution does it have? The product name says FHD IPS, but the feature description says HD. The information provided does not clarify the discrepancy.
Is it worth it?
The Aurant R5 is worth considering for everyday browsing, schoolwork, and office tasks if you want a 15.6-inch Windows laptop with a numeric keypad, fingerprint reader, and TF-card expansion. Buyer feedback also points to everyday performance and portability as appreciated qualities. The key decision point is the screen: because the listed resolution differs across the product details, this is a less straightforward choice for anyone who needs a specific display specification. For routine use where that uncertainty is acceptable, its combination of familiar productivity features and expandable storage may suit the job.
