Snowkids 5m HDMI 2.1 cable 8K@60Hz
Product description
This HDMI 2.1 lead of 5 metres brings higher-resolution video and expanded gaming features to living rooms and media setups, offering 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz support for modern consoles and TVs. It aims to carry high-bandwidth signals with eARC, HDR10 and VRR for smoother gameplay and improved audio return in compatible equipment.
Key Points
The cable supports true 8K resolution at 7680 x 4320 according to the product information, and handles 4K at 120Hz for fast-motion content. Variable refresh rate (VRR), quick media switching (QMS) and auto low latency mode (ALLM) are listed as supported, which helps reduce tearing and lag in gaming. Enhanced audio return channel (eARC) and HDR10 are available to pass higher-fidelity sound and expanded dynamic range to compatible receivers and displays. The lead is described as compatible with HDCP 2.2 and 2.3 and also carries Ethernet and 3D signals.

Advantages
This cable is positioned for users who need longer reach without giving up advanced HDMI 2.1 features. The extended length allows connecting wall-mounted displays to consoles or AV equipment across the room while maintaining the higher frame rates and resolutions that next-generation consoles and high refresh-rate PCs can output. The nylon braided exterior and an anti-bend tail are intended to improve durability for repeated connection and movement.
Usage Recommendations
Use this lead for connecting the latest game consoles, 8K or 4K televisions, projectors and modern AV receivers where HDMI 2.1 features are required. For best results, pair it with devices that explicitly support HDMI 2.1 features such as 4K@120Hz and eARC. Consider cable routing that avoids sharp bends to conserve the integrity of the tinned copper core and the anti-bend tail. Note that actual performance may depend on the capabilities of both source and display devices, as well as on the HDCP implementation and the particular settings used on each component.
Practical Notes
The manufacturer states the cable uses advanced chips and materials to ensure signal stability and resistance to oxidation thanks to gold-plated contacts. A longer 5 metre lead can introduce more susceptibility to interference in some environments, so if the setup is particularly sensitive or runs at the limits of bandwidth, testing at the intended resolution and refresh rate is advisable. The product description also mentions customer support and lifetime service from the brand.
