Malwarebytes Premium + Privacy VPN for 2 Devices, 12 Months

Protect a laptop and mobile phone during everyday browsing with Malwarebytes Premium + Privacy VPN, a 12-month subscription for two devices. It provides real-time protection against emerging threats, while the included Privacy VPN makes this a package for people looking at both device security and privacy tools.

The product is listed for Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and Chrome, so you can choose two devices from the platforms named for the subscription.

Key points

Malwarebytes provides 24/7 real-time protection against emerging threats, alongside antivirus, anti-malware and anti-spyware protection. That gives everyday devices a range of security coverage while you browse, work or manage personal tasks. The software is designed to provide this protection without slowing you down.

The package combines Premium protection with Privacy VPN. It is a different approach from choosing a security subscription for just one device: this licence is for two devices over 12 months, with the option to use it across the listed platforms. An activation code is sent by email, making it suitable for an online purchase when you want to set up the subscription using a code.

Some protections are specific to Windows. On Windows, Malwarebytes also protects against malicious links and websites, phishing, ransomware, zero-day exploits and brute-force attacks, and includes uninstall protection. If these particular features matter to your setup, they are relevant when choosing which of your two devices to cover.

Getting the most from it

After receiving the activation code by email, use it to activate the subscription for the two devices you want to protect. Choose from the listed Windows, Mac, iOS, Android or Chrome platforms according to the devices you use. For example, you might use the subscription for a computer used for work and a mobile phone used for browsing and day-to-day tasks.

The Windows-specific protections are most relevant when one of your chosen devices runs Windows. For other devices, the package still offers the listed Malwarebytes protection and Privacy VPN, the particular protection features available depend on the platform. This makes the two-device allowance useful for covering a pair of devices rather than treating computer security as a single-device purchase.

Usage tips

Use the two-device licence for the devices you rely on most, such as a computer and a phone, and keep the activation details available when setting up the subscription. If phishing, malicious websites or ransomware protection is a priority, use a Windows device for one of the covered slots, as those protections are listed for Windows only.

The 12-month term gives the subscription a clear duration for planning your security cover. The Privacy VPN is part of the named package, so it can be considered alongside the Premium protection when choosing this product. Select the two devices based on your regular use, then activate the code on those devices and make use of the protections provided for their platform.

Final verdict

Malwarebytes Premium + Privacy VPN is suited to anyone seeking a single 12-month subscription for two devices across the platforms listed. Its combination of real-time security protection, a named Privacy VPN and additional Windows protections makes it a practical fit for covering everyday devices, particularly when one of the two is a Windows computer.
