LG 34U601B-B 34-inch Curved UltraWide Monitor, UWQHD 120Hz, FreeSync Premium

A conventional screen layout suits a different kind of desk setup, the LG 34U601B-B gives you a broad, curved canvas for work and entertainment. Its 34-inch UWQHD display combines a 21:9 aspect ratio with a 3440 × 1440 resolution. Want room to keep several tasks visible while also enjoying a more expansive view for games and films? The 1800R curve and virtually borderless design make that wide format the focus.

Highlights

The 21:9 screen provides space to arrange multiple programmes side by side, making it easier to refer to one window while working in another. Its 3440 × 1440 resolution brings detailed imagery to that wide workspace, while the 1800R curvature follows the natural field of view for a more enveloping viewing experience. A three-sided virtually borderless design keeps the visible display prominent and gives the monitor a clean look on the desk.

For gaming, the 120Hz refresh rate supports fluid motion, and AMD FreeSync Premium with VRR helps reduce tearing and stuttering when used with compatible hardware. HDR10 support brings enhanced brightness, contrast and tone mapping to supported games and films. The 99% sRGB (typ.) colour gamut also supports vibrant, consistent colour for everyday viewing, photo editing and content creation.

HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 provide connection options for PCs, laptops, consoles and workstations. Compared with choosing a conventional 16:9 layout, this monitor is designed around extra horizontal space: useful when you want a broad desktop view or a more cinematic format rather than a standard proportion. Its tilt-supporting adjustable stand helps you set a comfortable viewing angle, and the slim base keeps the footprint on your desk tidy.

Best use cases

This display suits a desk where work and entertainment share the same screen. Keep documents, browser windows or creative tools open together across the wide desktop, then use the same expansive view for streaming or supported HDR films. For gaming, the combination of 120Hz and FreeSync Premium is designed to make fast movement feel smoother on compatible systems. The curved panel adds an enveloping quality to the experience, while the broad format gives games and films a more panoramic presentation.

It is also a practical fit for photo editing and content creation where colour matters: the stated 99% sRGB (typ.) gamut supports vibrant colour reproduction, and UWQHD resolution gives you a detailed canvas for arranging creative work. Connect a suitable device through HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.4, then position the stand using its tilt adjustment to suit your desk and viewing posture.

How to use it

Connect your PC, laptop, console or workstation using HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.4, selecting the connection that matches your device. The wide 21:9 desktop can then be used to place multiple applications alongside one another, helping reduce the need to switch between windows during a task. For compatible gaming hardware, VRR and FreeSync Premium support smoother gameplay, HDR10 is available with supported games and films. Adjust the stand’s tilt to set a viewing angle that works for your setup.

The LG 34U601B-B brings its key strengths together in one desk display: a curved 34-inch UWQHD screen, a spacious 21:9 workspace, and gaming features that include 120Hz refresh and FreeSync Premium. It is a solid choice when you want one monitor for multitasking, creative work and immersive viewing, with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 for connecting a range of devices.
