VASAGLE Sofie Collection LHC040B01 Bathroom Storage Cabinet, 4 Drawers, Ink Black
Product description
A small bathroom with toiletries and everyday bits on display is a natural place for the VASAGLE Sofie Collection LHC040B01. Its 30 x 30 cm footprint keeps it compact, while four drawers provide separate places to put things away.
The Ink Black finish, grooved drawer fronts and slim legs give it a farmhouse-style look. The cabinet is made from MDF and stands 82.2 cm high.
It is freestanding, but the included anti-tip kit is intended to secure it to a wall. Assembly is required, so allow time to put it together before use.
At a glance
This is a narrow storage unit rather than a wide cabinet with open shelves. Its four drawers suit smaller items that are easier to organise out of sight, such as bathroom essentials or, in another room, bottles and jars. The listed dimensions are 30 x 30 x 82.2 cm, and its weight is 8.3 kg.
The top has a stated maximum static load of 45 kg, while each drawer has a maximum static load of 4.5 kg. These figures help set expectations: the top can take more than the individual drawers, which are intended for lighter stored items. The included anti-tip kit should be fixed to the wall for safety.
Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if you want a freestanding cabinet with a small floor footprint and several separate drawers, and prefer a piece that can work beyond the bathroom. The described uses also include storing CDs in a living room, glassware in a dining room, or bottles and jars in a kitchen. Its Ink Black colour and decorative drawer fronts make appearance part of the decision as well as storage.
The smooth surface can be wiped with a cloth, which is a straightforward way to deal with marks. The product information does not state that the MDF is specially treated for wet conditions, so it is sensible to keep its intended room and placement in mind rather than assume it is suitable for persistent splashes.
Everyday use
What needs a home: small daily essentials, or larger items that need more room? This cabinet’s four drawers offer a way to sort smaller belongings, while its compact dimensions make it easier to place where floor space is limited. For bulky items or storage that needs open access, a wider unit or open shelving would be a different approach, this design prioritises drawers and a relatively small footprint.
Assembly is required. The product comes with labelled parts, instructions and an assembly video, and buyers have described putting it together as easy, one also mentioned using an electric screwdriver. Buyers have also praised its sturdiness. These are reported impressions rather than a substitute for following the assembly instructions and securing the unit with the supplied anti-tip kit.
Buying verdict
The LHC040B01 makes most sense when the need is organised, enclosed storage in a narrow space, with four drawers instead of one larger compartment. Its use across several rooms gives it flexibility, while the farmhouse-style details and Ink Black finish are useful considerations if it will be visible in the room.
Not the best choice if you need deep storage for bulky belongings: the listed footprint is just 30 x 30 cm. For lighter, smaller items and a compact spot beside other bathroom furniture, its layout is more relevant. Assembly and wall fixing are part of setting it up, not optional finishing touches.
