VASAGLE LSC089B01 Storage Cabinet with Sliding Barn Door and Adjustable Shelf
Product description
Choosing storage often comes down to whether everything should be hidden or a few useful items should stay within reach. The VASAGLE LSC089B01 combines a cupboard with an open compartment and a top surface, so it offers more than one way to organise everyday belongings without taking up a large floor area.
Its rustic brown and black finish, steel frame and sliding barn-style door give it an industrial look suited to an entryway, living room, kitchen or office. The door can cover the left or right part of the cupboard, while the internal shelf adjusts to suit what you want to store.
Key takeaways
This floor-mounted cabinet measures 70 x 30 x 80 cm and is made from chipboard and steel. Its three storage areas have different roles: the top can hold display items, the open compartment keeps frequently used belongings accessible, and the lower cupboard provides concealed storage. That mix can be more practical than choosing either entirely open shelving or a fully closed unit, particularly when you want a place for both useful and less display-ready items.
The stated static load capacities are 30kg for the top, 20 kg for the open compartment and 15 kg for the inner board. These figures give a useful guide when deciding what to place on each surface. Buyers praise the cabinet’s appearance and sturdy feel, and some highlight the clear assembly instructions. Those impressions are helpful context, but they do not replace the stated load limits or the assembly and safety guidance.
Everyday use
In an entryway, the open section could keep everyday items close at hand while less-used belongings sit behind the sliding door. In a living room or office, the top offers space for a ceramic vase or books, examples suggested in the product information, with the adjustable shelf allowing the cupboard layout to change. The cabinet’s 30 cm depth may suit a narrower space better than a deeper storage unit, while still providing a mix of open and enclosed storage.
A solid pick if you want a compact cabinet that combines display space with a cupboard and can be styled around a rustic brown and black finish. Better avoided if you specifically need every item hidden: the open compartment remains visible, and the top is also an exposed surface.
Usage tips
Set the shelf height around the belongings you plan to store, then use the sliding door to conceal either side of the cupboard. The adjustable feet are intended to help stabilise the unit on slightly uneven ground. The supplied anti-tipping device should be attached to the wall as directed, the safety information also says children should not climb on or play with the cabinet. Keep the stated load limits in mind when placing heavier items, rather than treating the shelves as interchangeable.
The product includes a mounting kit, anti-tipping device and user manual. Buyers also describe assembly as straightforward, with instructions they found easy to follow, though the unit still needs to be assembled before use.
Practical questions
Can the internal shelf be repositioned? Yes. The shelf inside the cupboard is adjustable, allowing you to change the storage layout.
Does the sliding door cover the full cupboard? It can be moved to hide the left or right part, so the cupboard is not described as fully covered in every position.
Does it include an anti-tip fitting? Yes. An anti-tipping device is included, and the safety guidance says to attach the cabinet to the wall with it.
Final verdict
The LSC089B01 is worth considering if you need a floor-standing unit that brings together an open section, adjustable enclosed storage and a usable top in one 70 x 30 x 80 cm footprint. Its appeal rests on that flexible layout as much as its industrial styling. The open compartment and specified load limits are important practical details, so choose it for mixed everyday storage rather than as a fully enclosed cabinet for every item.
