UGREEN FineTrack S CM829 Bluetooth Tracker Tags (2-Pack), 550-Day Battery
Product description
A double-click on the UGREEN FineTrack S tag can make a misplaced Galaxy phone ring, helping you find it quickly around the house or in a bag. The two-pack also lets you keep track of everyday items through Samsung SmartThings Find, with nearby sound alerts and location history in the app.
Each tag is designed for Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 9.0 or later. Battery life is rated at 550 days, and the app lets you check the battery level.
Where it shines
Attach a tag to an item you want to keep track of, such as a bag or another important belonging. When it is nearby, use the SmartThings app to play a sound of up to 80dB and help locate it. If your Galaxy phone is the item that has gone missing, double-click the button on the tag to make the phone ring. It is a handy two-way approach: find an item from your phone, or use the tag to find your phone.
For items that have moved beyond Bluetooth range, the SmartThings network can help show their location when a Galaxy phone is nearby. The app also stores up to seven days of location history, giving you a record of the tag’s movements. Do you want a tracker that can help with both a nearby search and a misplaced phone? FineTrack S brings those functions together in a compact everyday accessory.
Buyers highlight ease of use and how well the tracker works. Compatibility is an important part of choosing it: it is made for Galaxy devices, rather than iPhones or other Android devices.
Key features
The Samsung SmartThings Find certification means the tags connect through the Samsung SmartThings app. Bluetooth sound alerts are useful for searching close by, while the SmartThings network can help with a longer-distance location search when a Galaxy phone is nearby. Location history keeps up to seven days of tracks available in the app, which can be useful when retracing where a tagged item has been.
The listed battery life is 550 days, and battery capacity can be checked in SmartThings. With two tags in the pack, you can set up tracking for more than one item, or keep one ready for another everyday essential.
Usage tips
Use the Samsung SmartThings app to connect and manage the tags, and keep the tag attached to the item you want to locate. For a nearby search, play the tag’s sound from the app, to find a nearby Galaxy phone, double-click the tag’s button. For a longer-distance search, the SmartThings network relies on a nearby Galaxy phone to help report the tag’s location. The compatible devices are Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets running Android 9.0 or later, the tags do not work with iOS devices or other Android devices.
