Requirements

This stylus is designed for iPad models from 2018 to 2022, including iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th and 5th generations), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd and 3rd generations), iPad Air (3rd, 4th and 5th generations), iPad mini (5th and 6th generations), and iPad (6th to 9th generations). It is not compatible with iPhone, Samsung Tab or Microsoft Surface devices, so match your iPad model and generation to the list before choosing.

Practical tips

The magnetic link lets you keep the stylus attached to the iPad for convenient storage, it does not charge through the magnetic attachment. Use the USB-C port to recharge it, and check its remaining battery level on the iPad via Bluetooth. The tip and tilt response suit note-taking, marking up work and adding fine details to sketches, while palm rejection lets you rest your hand on the screen as you write or draw.

For a practical example, it can be kept with a compatible iPad for jotting down ideas during a class or meeting, then used to sketch or annotate afterwards. Compared with choosing a stylus purely for basic tapping, this model brings pressure and tilt sensitivity, palm rejection and a fine tip together for writing and creative tasks. Buyer feedback appreciates the magnetic attachment and sees it as an alternative to an Apple Pencil, while opinions on compatibility and battery life are mixed.
