Transformers Studio Series G21875X0 Blitzwing 17.5 cm triple-changing figure

For Transformers fans choosing a Blitzwing figure for imaginative play or display, this Studio Series release brings the character from The Transformers: The Movie into three forms. It stands 17.5 cm in robot mode and converts into a jet or tank, giving you more ways to play with one figure.

Film-inspired details and articulated posing help it work just as well in a collection as in a play scene.

Getting the most from it

Start in robot mode, then follow the conversion steps to change Blitzwing into a jet or tank. The switch to jet mode takes 32 steps, changing to tank mode takes 29. That hands-on transformation makes the figure a more involved choice than a character toy that stays in one form, while the three modes give children different ways to bring scenes to life.

The figure comes with two blasters, a sword and two missile pod accessories. Attach them to build a battle-ready display or add detail to play. Its articulated design supports display-worthy poses, so Blitzwing can be arranged alongside other figures in a collection or positioned as the centrepiece of a character-focused display. The film-inspired deco and details keep the look rooted in The Transformers: The Movie.

Strengths

The main appeal is the combination of a recognisable film design and three distinct forms. Rather than choosing between a fixed display figure and a toy built around transformation, this Blitzwing offers both poseable display and manual conversion. Its accessories add options for setting up action scenes, while the robot, jet and tank modes let the character take different roles during play.

For a practical play scenario, a child can set Blitzwing up as a robot, equip the blasters and sword, then change to jet mode for an aerial scene or tank mode for a ground battle. The conversion steps make changing form an active part of play, rather than simply swapping between static poses. For collectors, the 17.5 cm robot form and movie-inspired detailing provide a clear character display, with the alternate modes available whenever the arrangement needs a change.

The figure is intended for ages 8 and up. Small parts present a choking hazard, so it is not suitable for children under 3.

When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a Blitzwing collectible that can move between play and display without being limited to a single character pose. The three forms, articulated design and five accessories give fans several ways to use one figure, while the Studio Series film styling makes it a fitting choice for a Transformers: The Movie collection. Choose it for character-led play, a transformable addition to a display, or both.
