T4U 16.5 cm Self-Watering Plant Pots, 6 Pack with Reservoir and Drainage

If you need several indoor pots with a built-in water reservoir, this T4U six-pack is designed for houseplants and herbs. Each pot uses a cotton wick to draw water from the reservoir towards the plant’s roots, while drainage holes allow excess water to escape.

The set is listed with white pots and brown saucers, giving it a simple look for a windowsill or living room. The plants and decorations shown are not included.

This suits a different routine from watering directly into a basic pot: the reservoir provides another way for plants to access water. It still leaves you responsible for checking and topping it up.

Technical overview

• Name: T4U Self Watering Plant Pots
• Type: Indoor plant pots with saucers
• Pack size: 6 pots
• Advertised pot size: 16.5 cm diameter x 16.5 cm height
• Material: Plastic

The product details also give dimensions of 17.1D x 17.1W x 24.5H centimetres, which do not match the individual pot size stated elsewhere in the listing. Customer reactions to the size are mixed, so it is worth allowing for that discrepancy when planning where to place them.

Best use cases

These are intended for indoor plants, with herbs, pothos, spider plants and orchids mentioned in the product information. A set of six can be useful when you want a consistent style across several plants rather than buying pots individually. The reservoir-and-wick arrangement may also suit plants that benefit from drawing water from below, but the listing does not establish that every plant has the same watering needs.

It’s a good fit if you want multiple lightweight plastic pots with saucers and a way to supply water through a reservoir. Customer comments are generally favourable about their appearance and function, including reports of use with orchids. Feedback is less consistent on whether the size suits a particular space.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the removable watering lip to add water to the reservoir rather than pouring into the gap between the pot and its base. The cotton wick and roots can then draw from the stored water. The drainage holes provide another route for excess water, so this is not a sealed planter, choose a suitable indoor spot and keep an eye on how much water you add.

Customers disagree about how easy it is to see the water level, and some mention that the base does not always fit tightly. Treat the reservoir as something to check rather than relying on its visibility alone. The pots are described as lightweight plastic, so they offer a different choice from heavier, more substantial planters.

What to clarify

How does the watering system work? Water is held in the bottom reservoir and can be drawn towards the plant through a cotton wick or by the roots. The pot also has drainage holes.

Are plants included? No. The listing says plants and decorations are for display only and are not included.

Can you easily see the water level? Feedback is mixed: some customers find it useful for monitoring water, while others have difficulty reading the level.

When it makes sense

Choose this set if you need several indoor pots with a reservoir, saucers and drainage, and the listed size works for your plants and space. Not the best choice if you need outdoor planters, or if you require a clearly specified size and a water level that is easy to read: the product is described for indoor use, and customer feedback on size and visibility varies.
