SONGMICS BUNJI LLR701G01 4-Tier Clothes Airer with Folding Wings
Product description
A compact airer suits occasional washing, but a larger household load calls for more hanging space. The SONGMICS BUNJI LLR701G01 has four tiers, folding wings and a bottom shelf for shoes, so it can handle different types of laundry at once.
Its steel and PP plastic construction has a stated maximum static load capacity of 35 kg. Four castors make it easier to move between rooms or outside, and two have brakes to keep the rack in place.
The main trade-off is its size: at 126.6 x 64.2 x 169.2 cm, it needs a fair amount of floor space when open. Buyers’ feedback is mixed on assembly, while some also raise concerns about stability and durability.
Who it’s for
This airer is aimed at households that regularly need to dry more than a few small items at a time. Three upper tiers provide room for clothes and towels, the two rotating wings have 14 slots, and the bottom tier is intended for shoes. That mix may be useful when a wash includes several garment types, rather than needing a separate rack for each one.
It can be used indoors or outdoors, including in a utility room, hallway, balcony or yard. For example, after a family wash, the shelves and wings offer separate places for everyday clothes, towels and footwear. It’s a good fit if you want a moveable, multi-level airer and have space to open it fully. It’s not for you if your priority is a small footprint: the listed dimensions make this a substantial rack, not a compact option for a tight corner.

Why it makes sense
Compared with a basic, smaller airer, the appeal here is the combination of several drying levels, hanging slots and a shoe shelf. The castors are practical if you need to move laundry to a brighter spot or shift the rack out of the way, the brakes can help keep it stationary once positioned. It folds for storage when it is not in use, though its size means it still calls for a suitable storage space.
The product information says assembly instructions and labelled parts are included, with assembly described as straightforward. Buyer feedback is less uniform: some find setup easy, while others report difficulty. Comments on quality are also mixed, and some buyers report problems with the rack’s stability and durability. These concerns are worth weighing up if you expect frequent movement or sustained heavy use, the stated load capacity does not, by itself, establish how well it will hold up over time.
Is it worth it?
The LLR701G01 makes most sense if drying capacity and flexible placement matter more than keeping the airer small. Its four-tier layout, folding wings, shoe shelf and castors bring several everyday laundry needs into one freestanding unit. For occasional, light drying in a limited space, a simpler and smaller airer may be easier to accommodate.
The stated 35 kg maximum capacity and generous layout are useful buying details, but feedback about stability and durability is mixed. If those concerns are decisive, consider whether a less mobile, more permanently positioned drying solution would better suit your routine. The strongest reason to choose this model is its combination of drying areas and mobility, provided its footprint works in your home.
