Schmidt Spiele 42348 Worry Eater Pat Plush Figure, 23 cm

A soft plush figure with a zipped mouth turns writing or drawing worries into a simple, hands-on routine. Schmidt Spiele’s Worry Eater Pat is a colourful 23 cm character for cuddling and for keeping little notes tucked inside.

Write or draw a worry, place it in Pat’s mouth and close the zip. It’s an approachable way to give children a playful prompt for sharing what is on their mind, while Pat also works as a comforting cuddly companion.

Everyday use

Pat brings together a soft plush toy and a practical place for small notes. A child can draw a concern they find hard to explain, or write it down with help, then feed it into the zipped mouth. This can make the act of sharing feel more familiar and less formal, whether the worry comes up at bedtime or during the day.

At 23 cm, Pat is a handy-sized character to keep nearby on a bed, chair or shelf, and easy to bring along as part of a familiar routine. The multicoloured design gives the figure a distinctive, friendly look, while the plush body makes it just as suitable for cuddling as for its note-holding role. It needs no assembly, so it is ready to use as a toy and worry box.

Benefits

Pat offers two useful roles in one character: a soft companion for cuddles and a zipped place for written or drawn thoughts. That gives children a concrete activity to try when they want to communicate a worry, rather than relying only on conversation. The zip also makes the routine clear: open the mouth, put the note inside and close it.

For families choosing between a conventional cuddly toy and a separate keepsake box, Pat combines those ideas in a single plush figure. The notes become part of a playful ritual, while the character remains familiar and comforting between uses. Its appeal is not limited to children either, the manufacturer describes the Worry Eaters as cuddly plush toys for people of all ages.

What matters most

Pat is made from soft plush and is washable, making care part of its everyday practicality. The figure measures 23 cm and comes in a multicoloured design. Its Worry Eater character theme gives the toy a purpose beyond display: the zipped mouth is designed for notes or drawings, so children can use their own words or pictures to express what is bothering them.

The recommended age is from 0 months, and no assembly is required. For a simple routine, keep paper and a pencil nearby, a child can make a drawing or write a short note, then put it inside Pat and zip the mouth closed. This gives the toy a clear role at home, while still leaving it ready for ordinary cuddles and play.

Before you decide

How do you use Pat as a Worry Eater? Write or draw a worry, place the note through the zipped mouth and close it. The activity gives children a simple way to express a thought using words or pictures.

Can the plush figure be washed? Yes, Pat is listed as washable, so it can be cared for as a cuddly toy as well as used for notes.

Is assembly needed, and what age is it recommended for? No assembly is required, and the recommended age is from 0 months.

Should you buy it?

Pat is a practical choice for anyone looking for more than a standard plush toy: it pairs a soft, colourful character with a zipped space for children’s notes and drawings. Choose it for a comforting cuddle companion that can also help make sharing everyday worries feel more approachable.
