JAKKS Pacific 175504 The Simpsons Talking Krusty Plush with Pull String

Made with a soft fabric body and a sculpted head, this Krusty plush brings the look of the clown from The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror III episode, “Clown Without Pity”, into a characterful display piece.

Pull the string to hear memorable Krusty phrases from the episode. The choice of good and evil modes adds a playful twist for fans familiar with the story.

With its switchable audio and original-style packaging, it suits a collection as well as a spot where the character can be brought to life with a pull of the cord.

Why it makes sense

A standard character plush is made for display or cuddling, this one adds an interactive feature. Pull the string to activate the phrases, then use the switch on Krusty’s back to select good or evil mode. That makes it a more engaging nod to the episode than a static figure, while the soft body and sculpted head keep the familiar plush-and-character design.

The packaging is styled as it appears in the episode, giving the piece an extra connection to its source. It can sit alongside other Simpsons collectibles or make a themed gift for someone who enjoys the series’ Halloween stories and distinctive characters.

What matters most

There are two play modes, with more than 10 phrases across the good and evil settings. The three LR44 batteries needed for the talking feature are included, and the phrases are in English. No assembly is required, the mode is changed with the switch on the back.

Buyers praise the doll’s appearance, its resemblance to the TV character and its humorous appeal. Some enjoy the catchphrases and the good/evil audio switch, while feedback on the phrase selection is mixed, with some wishing for more variety.

Best use cases

This Krusty plush is suited to Simpsons fans who want an interactive character for a collection, desk or themed display. For a straightforward display piece, a non-talking figure offers a simpler format, Krusty’s pull-string feature makes this one a natural fit when you want the character’s lines and two-sided personality to be part of the fun. It is recommended for ages 14 and up.
