Ravensburger 12000067 The Scream 1,000-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, 70 x 50 cm

Settle in for a focused evening at the table with a jigsaw featuring Edvard Munch’s The Scream. With 1,000 pieces and a finished size of 70 x 50 cm, this Ravensburger Art Collection puzzle offers a substantial project for adults who enjoy building an artwork piece by piece.

Soft-Click technology is designed to give the pieces a precise fit, while the hand-made die-cuts add to the care involved in producing the puzzle. Once complete, the image can be displayed as a colourful feature in your home.

Practical tips

Choose a clear indoor tabletop where the pieces can remain arranged as you work. Sorting by colour or by areas of the image can help organise a 1,000-piece puzzle and make it easier to return to the right section after a break. The rectangular finished puzzle measures 70 x 50 cm, so allow room for the completed image as well as the pieces you are sorting.

This format suits a relaxed solo activity or a shared puzzle session. If you are choosing between a smaller, quicker puzzle and a more involved project, the 1,000-piece count gives you a larger challenge centred on a recognised work of art. After assembly, Ravensburger puzzle glue can be used to fix the finished puzzle for framing or display.

Strengths

The artwork gives the puzzle a clear focus beyond the activity itself: progress gradually reveals The Scream, making each section part of a recognisable image. Its 1,000-piece format offers an absorbing tabletop project for puzzle enthusiasts, while the 70 x 50 cm finished size gives the completed design presence when displayed.

Soft-Click technology is intended to help the pieces fit together neatly, and the hand-made die-cuts contribute to the puzzle’s precise assembly. Ravensburger also describes the image as having bright colours without glare, helping the artwork remain easy to appreciate as you work. The cardboard pieces make this a traditional jigsaw format, suited to sorting, assembling and revisiting over multiple sessions.

For a practical example, set aside a table for an evening of sorting and assembly, then return to the puzzle whenever you have time to continue. It’s a good fit if you enjoy art-themed puzzles and want a substantial project with a finished image that can be shown rather than packed away. The design is also a considered gift for someone who enjoys jigsaws or Munch’s artwork.
