Educa 19389 SpongeBob 2 x 100-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Set, Cardboard

For children aged 6 and over who enjoy SpongeBob, the Educa 19389 set offers two 100-piece jigsaw puzzles for a screen-free activity at home. The cartoon theme gives young puzzlers a familiar subject to work on, while the piece count makes each puzzle a manageable challenge for beginners.

Made from cardboard, the puzzles are designed for tabletop use indoors. They can also bring a shared activity to family time, with concentration, hand-eye coordination, motor skills and patience among the skills the puzzles are intended to encourage.

How to use it

Set out one puzzle on a table and work through the pieces at a comfortable pace. The beginner skill level makes the set accessible for children starting to build confidence with jigsaws, while the 100-piece format offers a clear goal to focus on. When one picture is complete, the second puzzle gives them another SpongeBob-themed challenge to enjoy.

There is no assembly required, and the activity is manual, so it is ready to use as a straightforward indoor pastime. Its portable design is useful when choosing a puzzle for different tabletop settings around the home. For younger children, an adult can help organise the pieces and join in with the activity.

What stands out

Rather than providing a single puzzle, this set brings together two 100-piece designs. That gives children a choice of puzzle and a fresh picture to work on after finishing the first, while keeping the activity within the same familiar SpongeBob theme. It suits a quiet afternoon, a rainy-day activity or a shared puzzle session with family.

The cardboard pieces are described as having an optimal fit, helping each puzzle take shape as the pieces are placed together. The activity also offers a practical alternative to a one-and-done tabletop game: children can return to the second puzzle for another focused session, or share the task with someone else. What better way to turn a favourite cartoon theme into a hands-on activity?
