LZQ 975 L Raised Bed, Galvanised Steel, 180 x 90 x 58 cm, Green
Product description
The 180 x 90 x 58 cm rectangular format gives this LZQ raised bed a generous area for arranging vegetables, herbs and flowers in one dedicated outdoor space.
Made from hot-dip galvanised steel with a powder-coated finish, it is designed to resist rust and weather exposure. The green finish adds a neat, defined look to a garden or growing area.
With a 975 L capacity and an open-bottom design, it offers room for substantial planting while allowing excess water to drain away. Reinforced corners and base struts help keep the structure stable.
Usage tips
Use the bed to organise a mixed planting area, or give one crop its own space. Its rectangular footprint works well for rows of vegetables, while the same generous surface can be divided between herbs and flowers. The 58 cm height provides depth for planting and makes the growing area easy to distinguish from the surrounding garden.
The open base is designed to support drainage, so position the bed where water can move away freely. For a productive growing space, arrange plants according to their needs and leave accessible space around the bed for watering and harvesting. It can also be used for composting, making it a versatile choice for gardeners who want to put organic waste to use.
Assembly uses pre-made holes and is described as tool-free. Stainless steel screws and edge protection are included, giving you the key fittings for putting the bed together and protecting its edges during use.

Why it makes sense
A metal raised bed is a practical alternative to a wooden planter for gardeners looking for a structure designed to resist rust and weather exposure. Unlike wood, galvanised steel will not rot or warp, helping the bed retain its shape through outdoor use. The powder-coated finish adds another protective layer, while the reinforced construction supports a stable planting space.
The 975 L capacity makes this size useful when a small planter would not provide enough room for a broader mix of crops. Grow vegetables alongside herbs, create a dedicated flower bed, or use the space for composting. The defined rectangular shape also helps keep planting organised without spreading beds across the garden.
Is it worth it?
This LZQ raised bed is a considered choice for anyone who wants a spacious, weather-resistant growing area in a clear rectangular format. Its galvanised, powder-coated steel construction, open base and generous capacity bring together practical features for outdoor vegetable, herb or flower growing. Choose it to make a substantial planting area part of your garden, with a durable structure designed for regular use outdoors.
