blumfeldt High Grow Half Circle 200L Raised Bed, Galvalume Steel, 43cm

Some garden layouts suit a planter that fits along a boundary rather than taking up space in the middle. The blumfeldt High Grow Half Circle raised bed has a semicircular shape designed to sit against a wall or fence, helping you make practical use of patios, courtyards and other outdoor areas.

Its 200-litre capacity gives flowers, herbs, fruit and vegetables room to grow, while the 43cm height brings the planting area up from ground level. The open base allows roots to reach the soil below and lets excess water drain naturally.

The half-circle profile is made for positioning beside a flat surface, making it a useful alternative to a bed that occupies the centre of a garden. Its anthracite finish gives the planting area a neat, defined look, while the Galvalume steel construction is designed for outdoor use. The raised working level also keeps plants more accessible than ground-level planting, whether you are tending herbs for cooking or flowers for a patio display.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose a firm outdoor spot beside a wall, fence or other flat surface, then assemble the bed using the illustrated instructions. Once filled, the 200-litre planting space can accommodate a selection of herbs, flowers, fruit or vegetables. For a useful kitchen-garden arrangement, plant frequently used herbs where they are easy to reach, and use the remaining space for seasonal produce.

The open base lets roots grow into the soil beneath the bed and supports natural drainage. This is particularly useful when growing plants that benefit from access to deeper ground, while the raised structure keeps the planting area clearly defined. The 43cm height provides a more elevated working position for routine tasks such as sowing, watering and harvesting.

What you get

Illustrated assembly instructions are included to guide setup. The raised bed is designed for straightforward assembly, so you can prepare its outdoor position and get the planting area ready for use.

Final verdict

The blumfeldt High Grow Half Circle is a practical choice for gardeners who want a generous planting area without placing a rectangular bed in the middle of the space. Its wall-friendly semicircular shape, 200-litre capacity, 43cm height and naturally draining open base make it well suited to growing flowers, herbs, fruit or vegetables in a patio, courtyard or garden. Choose it when you want to make a boundary-side area productive and keep everyday planting within easier reach.
