lalasis RM-DP1.4 DisplayPort 1.4 Cable, 3 m, Braided Nylon, 8K@60Hz
Product description
Some screen setups need a direct connection for gaming and high-definition video, while others call for a cable that can handle high refresh rates. The lalasis RM-DP1.4 is a 3 m DisplayPort cable with a braided nylon sleeve. It supports bandwidth up to 32.4 Gbps and resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz. Connect a DisplayPort-equipped computer to a compatible screen, HDTV or projector for video and audio transmission.
Getting the most from it
Use the male-to-male connectors to link DisplayPort-equipped devices directly. With a desktop or laptop connected to a monitor, the cable’s support for high refresh rates makes it suited to gaming, while its 8K and 4K modes also serve high-definition viewing and streaming. The specified modes include 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 144Hz and 2K at up to 240Hz, the resolution and refresh rate available depend on the connected equipment. FreeSync and G-Sync support, HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 add useful compatibility for supported display and graphics setups.
This is a straightforward choice when both ends use DisplayPort, rather than a solution for adapting between different connector types. The 3 m length gives room to position a computer and screen apart, and plug-and-play connection keeps setup simple. It is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1, and is listed for use with compatible monitors, HDTVs and projectors from brands including Samsung, Dell, LG, HP and Acer. Check that the source and display have DisplayPort connections and support the mode you intend to use.

Why it’s worth it
The combination of a 3 m reach and support for high-resolution, high-refresh-rate modes makes this cable useful for a desk setup where the display needs to sit away from the computer. Its braided nylon outer layer and metal connectors are designed for regular handling, while the DisplayPort 1.4 connection supports a broad range of compatible screens and graphics cards. Buyers highlight its functionality and consider its quality reasonable, making it a practical choice for a direct connection without adding extra setup steps.
Is it worth it?
It suits you if you want one DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable for a compatible gaming monitor, HDTV or projector, with support for features such as HDR10 and adaptive sync. Choose it for a setup where the source and screen both have DisplayPort and you want the flexibility of a 3 m cable, alongside support for high refresh rates and resolutions up to 8K. For a computer-to-monitor connection used for gaming or everyday high-definition viewing, it brings the relevant length and DisplayPort 1.4 capabilities together in a simple plug-and-play format.
