Sniokco SN-16KHD-1.5M HDMI 2.2 Cable, 1.5 m, 96Gbps, Braided

Some HDMI connections only need to link everyday home entertainment equipment, gaming and high-resolution setups can call for greater bandwidth and support for modern picture and audio features. The Sniokco SN-16KHD-1.5M is an HDMI 2.2 cable designed for that higher-bandwidth role.

Its stated 96Gbps data rate and support for resolutions up to 16K make it suited to compatible TVs, monitors, projectors and gaming consoles. The 1.5 m length gives you a defined reach for connecting nearby equipment.

A nylon-braided cable and aluminium case add practical features for a connection that may be plugged in during setup and left in place. Use it between HDMI-equipped devices, with the available features depending on the connected equipment.

Everyday use

Connect a console to a compatible TV or monitor, link a laptop to a display, or route audio and video through a soundbar or AV receiver. Support for eARC is useful when sending audio between compatible home cinema equipment, while VRR and ALLM are relevant to gaming setups that support those features. Dynamic HDR and formats including Dolby Vision can support compatible viewing setups, and Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are relevant when the connected audio equipment supports them.

The cable is also listed as compatible with devices using HDMI 2.1, 2.0, 1.4 and 1.3 ports. This makes it a practical choice for connecting newer equipment within a setup that may also include older HDMI devices. The resolution, refresh rate and audio features available in use depend on the connected devices and their HDMI capabilities.

Compared with choosing a cable only for a basic TV connection, this model puts emphasis on bandwidth and support for high-resolution video, gaming features and home cinema audio. That makes it a more relevant choice when those capabilities are part of the setup, rather than the main concern being a simple connection between nearby devices.

In the box

The box contains one Sniokco HDMI 2.2 cable. At 1.5 m, it is intended for connecting equipment within that reach, such as a console and television on the same stand or a laptop beside a monitor. Plan the route between the HDMI ports before positioning the devices, particularly where the cable will pass behind furniture.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you are assembling a compatible high-resolution gaming or home cinema setup and want one cable for picture, audio and supported HDMI features. Its 96Gbps data rate, listed support for 16K, 12K, 8K and 4K modes, and 1.5 m length help define where it fits: connecting nearby HDMI equipment where bandwidth and feature support matter. For a simpler connection, the deciding factor is whether those supported capabilities are useful with your TV, console, monitor or audio equipment.
