Product description
Choosing a display connection often comes down to keeping a desk setup simple or having the flexibility to move between work and play. This lalasis USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable provides a direct link from a compatible USB-C device to a DisplayPort screen.
At 2 m long, it gives you room to position a laptop, tablet or other source device alongside your monitor. Plug-and-play operation means no adapter or driver installation is required.
For gaming, office work or creative projects, support for high refresh rates and VRR adds useful display options. Need to switch between a larger desktop view and a mobile-device setup? The cable also supports modes such as Samsung DeX and MacBook clamshell mode.

The range of supported resolutions and refresh rates makes this a practical direct-cable alternative to building a connection from separate adapters and leads. The result you can use depends on the connected device and display supporting the chosen mode. For everyday office work, connect a compatible laptop to a larger monitor, for gaming, the high-refresh-rate and variable-refresh-rate support is designed for compatible setups. The braided finish and stated resistance to tangling also suit a cable that may be connected and moved around regularly.
Requirements
The source device must have a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, and the display must accept a DisplayPort connection. The cable carries video in one direction only: from the USB-C device to the DisplayPort display. Listed compatible devices include selected iPhone 15, 16 and 17 models, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, iPad Pro and iPad Air, Samsung Galaxy devices and Steam Deck. Compatibility depends on the device supporting DP Alt Mode.
Usage tips
Connect the USB-C end to the source and the DisplayPort end to the monitor. Use the display settings on the source device to select a supported resolution and refresh rate for the screen. For a laptop-based workstation, the cable can support an extended or mirrored display arrangement, with supported MacBook setups, it can also be used in clamshell mode. Samsung DeX is another listed use, making it possible to connect a compatible device to a larger screen for work or viewing.
What sets this cable apart from a basic display lead is the combination of a direct USB-C-to-DisplayPort connection, high refresh-rate support and gaming features such as VRR. Its 2 m length also gives some flexibility when arranging a monitor and source device indoors.
Questions before you buy
